Hi everyone..
Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...
Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..
My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...
Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..
Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..
Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...
My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

I love those diamond pictures, I have done 9 so far and started a huge peacock one.must get back to it.
Picked up my lil miss

lathered my feet in cream, put them in a freezer bag then put my slipper on over that and left them for hours.

well doen everyone for ur artwork and self-care, taking time for u. What a great example and inspiration to us all
today i cleaned my bathroom. didn't stop til it was done. Phew. Started with my least fave task.
I also folded laundry and put it neatly on my couch, to be put away soon i hope. Things were getting so messy here, and my kitchen is still a lot, but these small steps were huge for me, after how low I have felt of late.

I actually text a friend and told her I SH. She was so concerned. I even told her I SH last Monday. She said so was so happy I told her and not to feel bad and to ring her day or night if ever I need to. I kinda feel relieved.

I was feeling a little overwhelmed at all the things I needed to do yesterday. They didnt need to be done by any certain time but just knowing I needed to do multiple things got to me a bit.
So I broke them down into steps. Step 1 - this thing. Now step 1 is done I can move onto step 2.
It actually worked really well and I got everything I needed to do done.

I was upset by something that happened in my family that I felt was unfair.
So I decided to realise I can’t change another persons behaviour snd life can be unfair. I would be strong and react to the situation. I felt good about my decision.
