Hi Everyone! New members are always welcome to post too 🙂
This thread topic and the Coronavirus have one thing in common...They are both temporary!
This is only a 'Feel Good' thread topic as the music you LOVE can help with its energising effect thus providing a feeling of relaxation...increased focus and emotional well being too 🙂
Sometimes going through periods of huge stress/anxiety I always forget to use music as a self nurturing method to 'ground/distract' myself
What is your 'FEEL GOOD' song/artist that helps lift your spirits in this difficult time?
my kindest always......Paul
Note: Beyond Blue have provided the official thread about 'Coping during the coronavirus outbreak' for everyone in the link below

Hi Paul
You're beautiful, I love your focus!
Any music with a great beat gets me pretty excited. I find turning the volume up on one of these kinds of songs tends to raise the excitement. My theory: If a song has a great vibe RAISE IT! If looking for something to get my heart singing, certain classical music does this. I think it's about the instruments to some degree: The exciting music tends to be a little about the drums (such as with Kings of Leon's 'Sex on fire'), whereas the classical is about the violin and piano etc.
Music is definitely and emotional experience.
Thanks for raising the vibe with this thread Paul. You're a blessing!
Take care

Hello Paul and everyone..🤗..
Paul Thank so very much for your kind words..
In the 60s and early 70s the singer and the music played is what you heard..nothing much was doctored up by computer to sound any different to what they sounded like..They had a few effects pedals that were manually operated...
I enjoy watching Woodstock..Crosby, stills and Nash do an amazing job with opening of the Woodstock festive on DVD...with “it’s a long time coming”....Their are so many great bands, singers, in the 60s/70s that are still remembered today..and still get played today on some radio stations...that music era was over 50 years ago...I hope that in future generations they continue to play them..
Tony wk...put me on to Leo Rojas...he plays the pan flute..and the way he plays is really very calming and relaxing..Like Tony recommended to me when I was struggling..I would also recommend to others who want some mind peace...(I hope it was okay to say that Tony)..
Sending my care, love with hugs..🌈💜🤗..
Please stay safe...and enjoy your music of choice..
Grandy..

Thank you Paul!
Music is something I turn to every day to help especially at night if I can't sleep. Why toss and turn and stress when you can put headphones on and even dance in the dark if it helps.
I love that you've created a space for people to share what they use to cope/lift spirits.
For me Jon Bellion has always been my go to when I need a lift.
I love the band Sheppard too and their music videos are so happy (plus they're from SA).
Like The Rising I look for music with a beat. Something that keeps my attention and has my feet tapping along. I find a repetitive beat therapeutic. My tastes vary hugely because I look for the beat more than anything else.
International music is my ultimate 'secret' pleasure. Secret I suppose because people seem to find my tastes weird.
As a kid my best friend had Indian heritage. She did Indian dancing and I loved seeing her dance.
At uni I was very low and a friend I lived with introduced me to Bollywood movies. I watched Kal Ho Na Ho with her, and realised the music always reminds me of a time I felt happy and safe.
High energy, colourful, happy and just so very lovely.
When I feel restless or sad at night I've got a playlist of songs I escape in.
If you listen to music on YouTube you'll notice suggestions come up. I find this helps me find new music.
Thanks again Paul.
