A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

• 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

To dear Tony (White Knight),

I saw your bus badge is yellow today. Champion alumni. And felt gutted. For you. For us.

The fact that you don't feel able to be a CC anymore was a huge wake up call to me. That we are human. That there is only a certain amount we can give of ourselves until we need to self care. I worry about you.

Thank you for all that you have given to us. Thank you for your poems when we're down. For starting so many threads to make us think and question.

I'm not sure if you're reading or if you need space from it all to self care but I wanted to say you are always welcome and wanted here. Please don't isolate yourself.

Suicide Watch isn't something I thought you and I would be doing together on this forum. However as you know, we kept vigilant over one of our community brothers early hrs of this morning, even though it was extremely distressing for us.

Your support was outstanding in the face of adversity and deserves recognition to the highest degree. You're an amazing woman! Coming not only to his aid, but also mine when I was exhausted and worried beyond words. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart; it was a beautiful act of kindness...

Sending you 24 perfect deep red roses surrounded in pure white Baby's Breath; nothing more would suffice.

They were extremely distressing hours, with many tears of frustration trying to will him to say something...

I have never been happier in my life when he started speaking again...
