A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

Thank you so much Chloe....The Yellow roses are beautiful Chloe, the colour of sunshine..I've placed them on the coffee table in my lounge room. Whenever I see them it'll remind me of the beautiful way your soul shines in helping others..💜

Today I'm sending a truck load of flowers and chocolates to members on this forum who're sticking it out and focusing on their own recovery, and contributing to that of others.

The best things in life are free, and this community of ours where we provide love, kindness, sensitivity, encouragement, support and gratefulness to each other really does heal!

I'm living proof that our free forum works as a recovery tool like no other. I suppose you could say it's group therapy on a large scale. We watch as others heal, and in turn this heals us too.

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou...

I'm in a great place today, so sharing the love with you all is a matter of course. You've all played a huge role in my recovery.

Gracious and kind thoughts;

Hi Sez,

Great, positive post. I'm so glad you are having a good day. Your bad time, this time coincided with mine and today I've finally had a bouyant day.

Regards Tony WK

Really, REALLY great to hear that Tony! Kudos for accepting and celebrating those up's and down's with self insight, compassion and wisdom.

Thanks Sez.

A little poem I wrote many years ago.

INK SPOT

To focus on an ink spot
So damn irrelevant
Missing the value of what
Passes me by

I straighten myself
As if I’ve won
Against the fool
Move my eyes from that ink spot
I no longer focus on….
