A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

Hello everyone,

some beautiful, calming lavender for Amanda who, despite he struggles these last few weeks, continues to check in on others and offer her support.

Also for Nat (Quercus), who shows raw, honest emotion and whom I believe and hope, can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Awww thank you Paul ☺️☺️ Feeling very appreciated, just added to my good mood 😘 Thank you. The flowers are sitting on the little chest of drawers next to my bed. What colour are they? Yellow and orange tulips are lovely... Mean very much to me haha 😊😢. I try my best to, you know, welcome some new members even though I'm not a community champion and I have only been here for just under 2 months, I love to help lol.

Also am very grateful to everyone on BB forums, very supportive and are lovely people!

CMF thank you so much for the beautiful lavendar. You are very generous and I appreciate your kind gesture immensely.

I just brought hubby home from hospital after just short of 4 weeks in. Its been such a highly stressful month for me for all sorts of reasons.

Now I can hopefully start to relax a bit and try to keep calm. The lavendar will help. Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness. 💜

Wilma - what a beautiful song! You are obviously very talented and thank you for sharing. I agree with you about water and rivers. Other than in a raging flood, rivers, creeks and gurgling brooks are calming, restful and rejuvenating.

Amanda. 💕

Hi Everyone, I hope all of you can get quiet relaxing day tomorrow with your feet up watching your favourite movie.

I have too many people to mention, so it's to all of you because there are so many wonderful, caring people on this site who deserve so much recognition, but can I quote an old saying which applies so often to all of us and it says

'it's the thought that counts', I think that's what we want in life.

My best to you all.

Geoff.
