Hi everyone!

I'm new here. Not really sure what to do. Where do I start? Any suggestions?

Hi Mary,

I'm sad that you're going but I know you have to put your own mental health first. I think you are an amazing caring person with a lot of wisdom that you're willing to share. You definitely deserve a break!

Thankyou for being here for me when I needed it.

You are awesome.

Wishing you all the best in the future!

Mia

Hi Sherie,

That's okay. 😊 You've got your own problems to deal with too!

Yeah, I'm sure it will all work out in the end. Sometimes it just seems impossible though. I'm really glad I found the forums because I don't know what I would have done without the support. I don't think I would be where I am now without this.

I went to the ⚠️ safety team meeting for work last night, then to my friend's place and we watched movies until 1pm. I'm working today and going to a social night at the local hall. So a busy weekend for me! 😊

Hugs,

Mia

Hello Mia

Just dropping to ask how you are going. I think I will be back on the forums soon, at least I hope so. Just storing some energy reserves. You are going so well I believe. Nothing will stop you getting well again.

Hello Mia,

I'm so glad to hear you are finding the forums useful. Also really good work on you to keep coming and using the tools available!

How was your social night last weekend? Did you enjoy it?

James

Hi Mary,

Nice to hear from you again! 🙂

Yeah, I think I'm going well too. I have felt better these last few weeks. I seem to have good days more often than bad days so that's definitely an improvement. Things are looking better.

My counsellor appointment yesterday went well. I know this is going to take a long time, but I'm confident that I will make it. Its time to get things moving! I just have to start working towards my goals, so this week I will book some driving lessons so I can start working towards my P's. Hopefully I can get some at night, because night hours are the hardest for me to get. Once the housesitting finishes I can start driving again so day hours will be okay.

I'm also going to update my resume and start looking for another job. At the moment, work is my biggest stressor so if I could find a job somewhere else that might make a difference! I might be paid more too 🙂

Talk later,

Mia

Hi James,

Nearly missed your post there! 😊

Yeah, the social night was good, although I left early because I was so tired. I have been sleeping better lately however. The late shifts and sometimes long hours just make it hard. Today is my day off so I'm just chilling at the library. 📚 Its my favourite place to be... so quiet and peaceful. And safe. Its one of the few places where I can actually relax and take a break from the chaos of life.

Hey Mia,

Sounds like your doing ok,

I am happy you have found a place to be at peace.

What type of job are you going to look for?

Dory 🌼 For you

Hi Dory,

I'm going to look everywhere. Probably just something like Coles, maybe a clothes store. Since I'm already working in fast food, I thought maybe I could try somewhere similar. Pretty much anywhere I can!

Mia

Hello Mia

So pleased you are looking for new opportunities. And working towards your driving licence. All good stuff. And sleeping better. Yes I know how that is as it's been one of my problems lately. Go to bed, sleep for an hour or two then wake and tos and turn for ages. Fortunately for me I am getting more sleep.

Do you like reading? It's a quiet place to be in the library especially if you are reading. Anything that helps you to relax and feel comfortable is good.

Hey Mia, Oh I haven't been to a library in so long!!!

I love libraries. We have this really nice one in Sydney next to circular quay. It has these awesome big wooden tables in the reading room...so quiet and surrounded by books 🙂

Are you reading anything at the moment?

James
