Trapped in supported accommodation

I have various people on my team supposedly helping through my depression, and other issues I have. They requested I go into a care facility for a one month stay. Which I agreed to fully expecting to return home about one month after. As soon as I mover in to the place there attitudes changed. All of a sudden I had to stay in the supported accommodation. Because I was not going to be supported in my home. Even though the support I need is available from various agencies. Around Melbourne by various counsels or privet agencies. Providing attendant care and home help. I believe I should be eligible for funding for disability. I have raised this with the people who are my advisers. But get caned every time I am not consulted. About the decision I am told just sit back do as we say. When your ready we will help more then. The plan i am not consulted on it's not working it's just stagnating. My family are no help. I am that fed up where I am. I am rely contemplating ending it all my life has no meaning in here. Just a worthless piece of meat that gets treated like a 3 year old. I know a warehouse full of stuff. That no one can now use. I cannot help anyone in here not even myself I'm not aloud.

Working with a slightly altered plan but there is a plan evolving it all the while. Now starting to trying to work smarter than harder.

That's a new tragedy for me hopfuly they wont expect where I am coming from.

The Doctors found a lump in me glands of the neck.

Mean time back on the cricket ground the umpire (me) is doing a lap of honer.

Why I hear you cry in your relentless persecute for truth, justice and the right to call superman names. For the last two weeks I have quit smoking, and still counting . I have smokers around me No patches no hypnosis or sprays, not even chewing gum. Just took me packet and lighter put them in the bin walked away not looking back.

Fine just went in for a tuneup and a quick lube job. Picked up a couple of pointers to use in here. Plus get out of here. Its a work in progress.

Thanks to the pointers, things are changing. Plus my not yelling at people is helping. the yelling is by frustration. Having to wait as long as I do because the staff are to busy. Or some times they ask the most stupid questions like "Do you really want your bottom wiped?" after I have asked them to do it. Any way I getting away from this place

Hey Kanga,

Well you are sounding happier today. Firstly, well done on giving up the cigarettes, very proud of you. Not good about the lump in your glands. When will you know more?

Depends on the ultra sound department and how busy they are

Dear Kanga~

I'm impressed with the smokes, and going cold turkey. I have a feeling for some people that's the only way, flippers crossed.

Having a lump may be ok, when we get older all sorts of things happen, the majority not serious.

My wife said I've got one on my neck, however she was vexed because she'd just been called Mrs Walrus (did not fit her self-image).

You also sound more in control of the staff, pretty good

Hope it's nothing too serious Kanga. I was thinking how different yet similar our situations are. Both trapped in a situation we don't want to be in, people not listening, people doing what they think is helping but it is making us more depressed and feeling helpless. Not bring able to get through to thick heads and talking to brick walls. Trying always to move forward but being pushed back.

Hence my name CMF - Can't Move Forward, nothing's changed.

Well the nerves are kicking back in. the care team are having a meeting later this week. To discuss the plan to move back home soon. I will have the phych on my side as a mediator to make sure it's equitable for all. But because of past form I don't trust one of the group coming into the meeting. They have twisted things around before. I believe the will again. If not at the meeting soon after.
