I just don't know anymore

I have been reading many threads, which makes me feel not so alone. I've had depression for 30 yrs. the last 5yrs have been chronic, that's why I'm in a nursing home.( no where else to go) I could not look after myself anymore. I have lost (commission unit)my unit my car and my baby dog. After many shock treatments, I am on medication which is keeping stable. I just don't have a life anymore. So alone. (Have lost my friends as I was out of action. I'm sure u guys can relate. I struggle with society that they just don't get it, what do we have to do to let them know this is REAL.( as if one could pretend with this illness) I don't think so!!! I really don't have a life

anymore. Being in a nursing home does not help cause when I leave my room I see so many older people around. It does not help my depression at all. That's all for now.thank you for ur time, looking forward to some replies.

That's good you are on the third floor, you can probably see the sky : ). I'm watching the sunset right now.

I'm also glad you have a volunteer visitor. I know it can be tricky to get the right "fit", so I'll cross my fingers as well.

I want to see Oceans Eight too! If it doesn't pan out this weekend, I might see if I can get hold of the earlier Oceans movies. If it does work out, I'll give you a review!

Oh PS - I'm lucky with my commute to work, it only takes about 30 minutes

It been really cold here today..Did you go out on the weekend at all or did your daughter visit you, I hope your new volunteer is a really nice person, I'm thinking of volunteering in one of the two nursing homes here, to get me out one more day a week..

Hows your jigsaw puzzle coming along, is it a nice picture, they usually are...I'm very proud of you for attempting something as hard and time consuming as a jig saw..well done...

I bought you a beautiful pink and red rose 🌹🌷, for your room, because you are such a beautiful person...

im so sorry I have been really slack. Not good. Thanks for ur reply’s. I too saw Oceans eight, on Sunday. I thought it was good. Did u like it? I did struggle to get there, it takes a lot to get out. I think it’s because I don’t go out much, especially now that Rachel works, it just seems to get harder. Did u do anything on the week end?

these wet days I don’t want to get out of bed, not good. Hope u are okay

I'm impressed that you got out to Oceans Eight! I think you should get a big pat on the back for that! I didn't get out due to the flu, but I might catch it on video. What did you like about it?

I'm also curious about the completed puzzle - what did it show?

I just had avocado on toast for lunch. Very fashionable : ) but all that avocado is surprisingly filling.

hows things. Sorry to hear u had the flu. Are u okay now. My puzzel is abit unusual it’s all blue different shades, and items, like soap,goggles, glasses, fan, yeah abit weird. My next one is a scenery.

Oceans 8 was a good drama I liked the actresses, they were good. You are such an interesting lovely person, i read many of ur threads and u are so caring and positive. I’m so lucky I have met u. I do hope u feel the same. I’m abit worried about Mandy, I do hope she is okay.

have u got anything exciting to look forward too. I do hope so. That’s all for now

Stormcloudz, I'm sorry to hear you have the flu, I had it earlier and it really hang around for a number of weeks, please look after yourself, plenty of fluids, water with freshly squeezed lemons are good, plenty of veggies,and plenty of rest and self care...I hope you feel better soon...

Chrissy....Wow way to go on the jigsaw puzzle, It's Okay Chrissy , please don't be sorry about the time frame in replying, it's when we feel up to it, I have been slack at times in replying quickly as well.

How is your volunteer going are you getting along okay with her.?.

I much prefer the colder months, 😁, I also like to stay in bed as much as I can... I try to stay until it warms up. Yesterday I went to water my lemon tree at around 11am. I turned the hose on and no water came out, when all of a sudden, whoosh out popped these long straw like icy sticks..lol the hose was still frozen at 11am....

I hope you find another nice jigsaw puzzle and complete it..I can do them on my iPad, but find them nearly impossible to complete in real life...I'm in awe of anyone that can dI them..

i have been reading ur threads as usual. You sound like things are not so good, I’m sorry. I know how it hurts. Again it’s just not fair. Why oh why. It just doesn’t go away.

i finished my puzzel, and started a new one, it’s a scenery.

My volunteer just rang to say hello, said she is not coming today, but will come tomorrow, she is really nice so far, early days.

Trouble seems to be following me around. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this lady lot but, I've locked my doors, shut my blinds and am staying inside away from the outside world,mi don't like it outside, people are so mean and uncaring. Ill stay safe in my own little inside world...

How have you been feeling , Chrissy I hope you've kept yourself nice and warm, it's really cold here today, it's snowing around 70 kilometres away and making these strong winds bitterly cold, I can feel it coming through the gaps in my front door and windows... brrr.
