Hi Sarah, the bush fires are still burning, mostly under control,a lot of smoke haze in the air.
My ex got bucked of her horse and her arm dosnt look to good,i hope its not broken. Not sure yet.It might change things for Christmas.
I took my son to see santa yesterday and got his haircut so busy at the shops now.

Hi Mark
Oh wow, you have had an interesting few days indeed. I hope too that you ex's arm is not broken, that would make for an uncomfortable Christmas for her, although if it means you get your kids that might be the silver lining. A trip to santa is so fun and I hope he enjoyed it, I miss those days so very much, they get older and just want the gifts....lol
I hope that these things can keep you busy and keep your mind busy too, and maybe even give you some time to feel happy, that would be so wonderful.
Huge hugs to you Mark

Oh wow Mark that is so very sweet that you grew them for someone knowing that they would love them, that is so thoughtful and so very special. I take it that she was not from Australia if you were trying to give her Australian things?
How is the weather where you are today, we are going to be having 44 degrees today which is a little bit too hot for me..
Do you have any plans for the weekend?
Hugs
Sarah

Hi Sarah,my friend from America, she found things so different in Australia.I miss her friendship so much.
I think it is a top of 38 forecast here today,42 for sunday.Rain forecast for Christmas day here, lets hope so.
I cook a glazed ham tomorrow and roast duck sunday and do Christmas for the kids before they go back to their mothers on monday.
My ex has the ok from the doctor no broken bones or anything major, just a bit sore and bruised. She should be right to take the kids down to her parents for christmas and my daughter is going to stay a few days with them after Christmas.

Hey Mark, that sure sounds like an amazing cook up, wow, your kids are so very lucky and it is so nice that you can have some time with them. Great to hear that your ex is ok too, that would have really made a miserable Christmas for her.
There are so many differences between here and The States, my aunt lives there and we have great chats about all the things that are different.
I can hear how much you miss your friend and I am so very sorry that this is such a sad and painful thing in your life.
Hugs
Sarah

HI Mark
I can hear how much you miss your friend and this has been a really tough time for you, and as you said with all that has happened this year with droughts and with fires and with your kids having different things happen and go through test and things, but you have done it Mark and you have managed it and I am so proud of you that when all of this does get thrown at you, you still manage through it, that is so very strong and so great and I am proud of you Mark.
I have two more days of work and then some time off which I am really looking forward to, just some quiet time and so time to reflect on the year, please let next year be brighter and happier for both of us hey.
Huge hugs Mark
Sarah xxx
