Alone..Depressed..Sad..

Hi..I'm new here..just need to put my feeling down..no one to talk to makes depression and anxiety so hard...the last 4 days I have either been in bed crying or on the lounge crying..I can't seem to get out of this...I am becoming a prisioner in my own home as its getting progressively difficult to go out.. I have to go out Tuesdays so I do everthing on that day but it's like I'm holding my breathe all day until I get back to the safety of my home then I can let go and that starts the cycle again of spending the next 6 days at home either in bed or on the lounge sad and depressed...I really feel like just giving up.. My husband passed away 4 years on This coming Thursday. My children live 6 hours drive away and have small children so I don't see them that much.Bad mum and grandmum I am on there last visit i was pleased to see them but I just wanted them to go home. I feel so aweful and numb atm..

my love goes to you at this time. ICU is serious stuff, the care given in these units is excellent and always totally geared to each patient as an individual. The drs and nurses in these units are very highly skilled and caring. He will be well looked after.

i am glad you are with your other son. You need family at this time. You also need faith that he will be well looked after and all the best done for him.

Hello Everyone....🤗,

Thank you all for your caring support..

My son came home on Wednesday, the community nurse is going to his daily to change his burns dressings for this week then an assessment mid week at the hospital...His burns are bad but not to much life changing....

His stomach wounds are healing after 2 surgeries, still has a drain in and heaps of stitches...he is doing better then anyone expected....

He has a long road towards recovery and healing, I know he will be okay...his work boss is doing all he can for my son and his family....

The first thing my son said when he walked inside his house was...(ah I get to sleep in my bed tonight....how lucky I am I can do that...and be with my family)..

I can’t thank you all enough for just being here and your well wishes for my son....I believe in the strength through prayer and good wishes of health and recovery ....

Oh what fabulous news wow the poor guys been and going through the mill. Clearly been and is being very well looked after.

So so good hes back at home and recovering better than expected.

Oh that is wonderful news to hear he is home... however long it takes from here... just being in a familiar place with his loved ones will help his recovery so much...

What a relief for you all that your son is home out of hospital! I can imagine he is glad to have his own bed back, hospitals are not comfortable places!!!

It must have been a dreadful accident for injuries like that, I hope your son takes all the time he needs to recover.
