Mental breakdown

Hi all, ive been feeling really down and out since the start of this year despite good things happening for me aka work and study! I feel like i have no solid support mentally and physically and im just completely broken everyday, im exhausted, sore and my body is telling me enough! Im lonely, single and live by myself my parents are good but they also busy with their individual lives too. Ive tried dating and a few times it makes me feel much better and capable of many things having someone by my side but alas it doesnt ever seem to work out or it fades out from their end.

i just need some help to get to the otherside of this, because for once i cant see how to get out of this 😩

Hi Trickiey,

I guess a good place to start maybe to go to the doctor and get a general check up, just to make sure things are okay, at least in a physical sense.

The other thing is that there is a LOT to be said for physical exercise. Even if it's just a brisk wal around the block. Physical activity gets your endorphins going - those 'feel good' cells - and can really lift your mood!

Also, if a relationship with another person doesn't seem ot be working for your right now, then if you are in a position to get a pet, then they can be really great company. A cat or a dog will always be there to greet you when you get in the door, and they'll never care much at all if you're feeling sad or down; they're just cuddly and friendly all the time!

Anyway, hope that advice isn't trite; I'm certainly no professional, that's for sure.

Take care, hope you feel better soon. xox
