Just a vent, or something

I'm not sure if this s the right place to do this but I just need to say some thing to someone and I dont have anywhere else. I tried diaries and stuff like that but they just make me feel sorta invisible.

I'm just not doing ok today. I feel dysphoric and sick and sad. I keep trying to cry but I cant. To make it worse, it's my parents birthday today and I was supposed to make them something but evertime I tried before I couldn't start and I can't even make it out of bed today. I feel like I don't stop dissapointing them. They're a good parent, they just don't deserve me. So I'm sitting here and even being upright is making me nautious. I just want to curl away into a ball and to be forgotton, but I can't. I just feel so tired.

We are really sorry you are feeling this way right now. It can be incredibly difficult to do anything when our mental health isn't great and we feel sad. We think that writing on this forum is a great way to put some words to your feelings and to be able to talk about how you are going. 

You are absoloutely in the right place and you are always welcome to share here - or join in on other conversations that you feel you connect with. 

We think it might be good for you to talk to someone about how you are feeling, we have put some numbers below of people who will understand how hard it is to feel this way. They will listen without judging and support you any way they can. There are also some links to webchats becasue we know it can be hard to talk about how we feel sometimes.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing that with us. Of course this is the right place to do this. Please know that this is a safe space for you to share as much as you like about what's on your mind and how you're feeling. Don't ever feel like you aren't allowed to share. Writing out your thoughts in a journal can be very helpful, but venting to someone and having them listen is very valuable as well.

It sounds like you're really going through it right now and that you're thinking very low about yourself. How long have you been feeling sad, dysphoric and tired? Do you feel that you have a lot of days where you find it hard getting out of bed?

Have you ever spoken to a professional about what you've been going through, or considered seeing one?

Please be patient with yourself - I know it's hard and it's not easy. Let yourself feel what you need to feel, and take small steps to take care of yourself, even if that just looks like going for a short walk, drinking some water, having something to eat. You are not a disappointment.

Hello Stardust, you can't do anything like this when you aren't feeling well, neither can you be expected because your heart is locked away struggling to surface and this could have been leading up to this for a long time.

This may have developed for many unknown reasons and may not be about making something for their birthday but started a while ago, so we hope you can come back and we can help you through this.
