Hey G12345,

It takes a lot of courage to be so open and honest with your feelings, and we are so glad that you have reached out here tonight. We can hear how worried you're feeling, but please know that you've come to a safe, non-judgemental space and our community is here to support you through this difficult time.

We'd really encourage you to reach out to our Beyond Blue Support Service, which is available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 or on Webchat 3pm-12am AEST on our website: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport. One of our friendly counsellors will be able to talk through these feelings with you and can offer support, advice and referrals.

You are not alone here, and we hope that you keep us updated on how you're going whenever you feel ready.

I’ve been crying yesterday I couldn’t stop crying I don’t know why I was being bullied and I’m sick of people hurting me with cruel words and saying my trauma means nothing and I should move I can’t believe people who know about my trauma know I don’t know how to recover could even think that I’m gone through 8 years of traumatic events and my bully expects to move on good luck because I can’t

Hi G12345

Welcome to the forums. What you're going through seems really difficult right now.

You can phone 1800RESPECT also and ask them for advice.

If you are still at school, or under 25yo, you may be able to see a Headspace Counsellor or psychologist.
You will just need to phone them.

I understand you can also do webchat with Headspace, do you think you can do this?

There is lots of help available for you. You just have to get a telehealth appointment with you doctor for a mental health care plan and a referral to Headspace (if you are under 25). Do you think you can do this?

If you would prefer to talk it out here instead or as well, then please do.

Well done. 3 more sleeps till you see your psych then.

An AWESOME BB member gave me the name of a psych you can search online and watch some clips on. She's BRILLIANT. Her name is Kristen Neff, have a watch and see if you can do some of her techniques to tide you over till Tuesday.

Also drink water and get lots of sleep.

Hello G12345, welcome to the forums and deeply sorry for how you are feeling.

If you have already being seeing a psychologist then there must be a reason, one that your GP knows about and can also diagnose.

Trying to relate a trauma to other people, such as, to any friends or family may seem to be significant for them to comprehend, but certainly not how it has affected you, so 'one man's problem could be another man's gain'.

If you are being bullied, as you say, this can make you feel powerless, it doesn't matter whether it's emotional and/or physical both can damage your confidence and self-esteem.

Hope you can get back to us, you have our support.

Geoff.

Dear G12345

What's happening?

Sometimes those around us have no idea how to support us, as Geoff said.

You could never be a burden. You are valuable and just need to work some things out. EVERYONE needs help from others. You are not alone.

Please let us know what's going on?
