Hi everyone

I am new to posting. I have bipolar and thought I would try here to see what it’s all about. I am going well at the moment, but have had some rough times too. Just wanting to know how helpful people find this site?

Hiya white wolf warrior

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry to hear about the problems you are having with the vet. I have a dog called Poppy Angel. The Angel part is because she gets me through the tough times. What’s your dog’s name?

I love that. My dogs named jesse but i called my angel dog. Im currently curled in a ball in the dark on the garage floor. I do that sometimes when im shut down and cant take anymore. But my angels lying next to me

Hi Jojo100,

I posted this in your other thread.....

welcome to beyond blue.

And YES, this is a safe place to share. You should find all the users in the forums are non-judgemental and accepting of other users. You should be able to post more about yourself here and how you are coping and other users will respond as they are able. You are not alone.

Peace,

Tim

Hi white wolf warrior

I am so glad you have your angel to hold onto when times are hard. Pets are a true blessing and at times more understanding than people.

sending you a big hug. Feel better soon

Hi Quirky

Thanks for your welcome. I am a bit nervous about sharing unless I feel comfortable, but I can see from reading posts that people seem very considerate and respectful of each other which I value. I was diagnosed with bipolar type I in 1996 and have been on the roller coaster quite often, however, in recent years I have been reasonably stable with the meds I take. When were you diagnosed?

Hi Jojo and Whitewolfwarrior,

I want to welcome you both to the community here. Whitewolfwarrior, I do see that you have already made a few posts on the forum, I don't think I have "met" you before.

I'd just like to encourage you both as you spend time on the forum.

This is a supportive and caring place where people's issues are acknowledged and validated in a respectful manner.

I agree with Jojo, pets can be so easy to love!

Cheers from Dools
