when moving house

dear All I have been off line for 2 and half days because I have been moving residence, and firstly I hope that I never have to do it again, and if I do then there will be only one way, and secondly our biggest telephone company had been given 5 days warning to have my phone hooked up 2 days before I moved in, but it wasn't, so I had to get them to rush it through because I need it on for medical condition and alarm around my neck, but then internet wasn't connected so I am on a temporary booster from my iphone account.

I am sure that plenty has been going on and sorry for much that I missed out on. Geoff.

Normally I see posts from you around 1am SA time daily but not lately.  I thought you went bush walking!  

I know what you mean about moving house.  Done it couple of times and never again.  Been living in my present home over 30 years.  Always come back to it even though I worked interstate a lot of the time in the past.

It'll take you ages to unpack, oh, that's nightmare.  Are you downsizing or upgrading to accommodate a big future family?  :=)

Anyway, it seems we're getting more & more newbies and your expertise is much needed.  Welcome back, not that you left.

And I'll never help anyone move either- ever!!!   Hoarders are the worst. Collecting everything and wanting others to move it- not this little black duck.  Hope you settle soon mate.  cheers.

Sorry to hear you're not in top condition.  Maybe start a thread and tell us what's bothering you.  You always support and encourage other people, maybe it's time you got back some TLC (Tender Loving Care).

dear Struggler and WK, moving is crap, 'changing of the hall' is never good for someone with OCD. heating is terrible because unit is all electric, although the people has just bought the place and gave me a welcome basket of goodies, so hope fully they will put gas on.

Sorting through all the boxes, and I had sent a lot to the lifeline shop op shop, just like I did 9 years ago, but now I still have too much, so the big broom will sweep much more to the op shop.

I feel better today so it's just settling in problems. Thanks Geoff.
