It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

After some digging and ordering others around (services paid for), I make a hot coffee and enter our cafe.

White with three sugars, yes yes, I know the sugar is not good for my diabetes. tuff, my blood work confirms I am optimal!

My last trip to the real world cafe caught me two choc cream donuts from a nice chap named Ryan, who knew my order already! Same as usual thx.

No worries about diabetes, D'n'G, I replaced much of that sugar with stevia, so you don't actually get as much sugar, but it will still be a sweet cuppa.

Please, fleas, would you please stop breeding long enough for me to measure you up for your leotards? Besides you are making LD uneasy. The bees wasps want to reside under the same awning, the ants have carried off the crickets. I could hear where they are, if the aeroplanes weren't so loud. I am happy to report the praying mantis likes the little bike I found. Because she is pretty grass green colour, her outfit and helmet are scarlet, I thought I would paint her bike fluorescent purple. I reckon she'll be doing wheelies in no time.

Is it any wonder why I am so exhausted? It's like herding cats! 🙀& I need to build a few ramps and stands for the hoops next.

Can I string the high wire across the main dining room? I'm sourcing some ghost bats and they will need somewhere to hang out.

Hello everyone , windy and thunderstorms last night !

d'n'g , how does diabetes affect your riding ? You made it up the long hill didn't you ? There is a hill in Newstead ( Brisbane , just east of the Valley ) with a short sharp hill where ( mountain bike ) when you hit the climb you have to lean over the handle bars with tummy on bars and body parallel with top bar . Fail to do this and bike will lift front wheel and go over backwards and you end up under it with head much lower than feet . Can't stop it once it takes off on you . Street is only about 70 to 100 Mtrs and steep climb about 25 but the day you conquer it is one you never forget ❤.

mmMekitty , poor crickets , are they food for the ants or slaves ? Regarding a runway , yes but due to the size and weight of the 124's & 225's , 443 & 644 tons it will need huge foundation which the contractors cannot deliver in time frame ? If you fly with them enough they become family , some clips have English subtitles .

How are the leotards going ? The ghost bats are cute in a vampire way . I have jellied beetles for them . ❤

Around March this year Dmytro & the crew did a job that took them 9 instead of 8 days . They planned to fly around the world in 8 days ( Jules Verne's , " around the World in 80 Days ") Loading & unloading multiple times . They were delayed 1 extra day in Melb for covid reasons ? Each day the days clip would come on line & was very comprehensive , including flightradar clips . 55000 nautical miles , start to finish . It was in a,124 . They have a team and the camaraderie on flight deck is infectious . Heavy haulage of the sky ❤❤❤

Good morning to you, too.

I guess I need to clarify, I can't read anything much smaller than a sign ofthe side of a truck, so I need lots of audio description to comprehend what ever is on the screen. I do have a tele which is bigger than a normal pc's monitor, but it is not big enough. Being big is not as useful as it once was. Maybe I can zoom in a lot, but then half the area of the video is not on the screen. & it's more blurry. I have a limited field of vision, lvery ow visual acuity, lots of visual interferance, lots of glare problems, and a nystagmus too. So, that means, I do not have a lot of useful vision anymore. some, to sure, and I am grateful,(most of the time), for that. As I often say, 'could be worse.'

So, here, mmMekitty is happy to play at being able to do more than I realy can.

As for those ants who ran off with the cricket, I don't know what they have in mind. That's why I wanted to find them, make sure Crikky was not going into a secret larder of theirs. Besides, the ants are supposed to work for me, not go off and be self-employed.

I am teaching Crikky to ride the little bike on the high wire. She's going to be a star.

Surely, amongst the Ghost Bats I will find a team of trapeze artists. They can work in the dark, and have bioluminescent body suits, and stars painted on their wings.

As for that hill in Newstead, Qld, that sounds like a challenge only suitable for stunt riders. We'll see how Crikky goes, if I can get her back. I'm sure she'll be up for it...given more training and experience. Bold one, that one.

I'll jjust fill my backpack with kangaroo jerky and condensed milk tubes, and be off, finding Crikky. You got a good nose, LD, you wanna come with me? I promise, you won't have to stick it into any nests.😺

Been up here , since 0200 , its a day earlier than normal but the quarters across the road were active again ? I had to go away in the car and camp after the almost home invasion , only came back last Friday . Didn't last long this time . Wont be here tonight I dont think . This stuff is very scary at 0200 when LD & I are alone . ( ice behaviour ) . No sleep for us yet again ?

LD gets jumpy, while I would rather get under the furniture and hide ...

Poor Crikky has been upset, refuses to work with ants, and I don't blame her. She needs a little tlc right now, but she has retired to the terrarium. When I am warm and dry and a bit calmer myself, I will rig up a lamp for her.

Spidey is doing cartwheels, just for having Crikky back in one piece. See how joy brings out the best in us?

As for measuring fleas, I need micromillimetre laser precision, 3D printing and some especially fine nanofiber fabric. They will look stunning! Little rainbow spheres bouncing and whizzing their way through a choreographed dance to 'Spanish Flea'. Who was it - Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass? I do believe so.

Now there is a bit of music to cheer you up and get you moving. Almost as good as the Buena Vista Social Club. Let's party!

Strength to you, Jo. Change of any sort whether it is or not something you are wanting comes with stress and uncertainty. Sure, your life will change. I can't tell you in what ways, or if you can prepare yourself for what might / will change with the transition journey you speak of. What changes do you anticipate? What are you feeling? Fear, excitement, any doubt or ambivalence, or are you impatient to get moving further along this transition journey?

I would like it if you do pop in to unwind a bit from time to time. Your warmth, red hearts, and the way you deliver your weather reports cheers me greatly. &, here, take a furball with you. If it would help you to think of it as a good luck charm, then, that can do no harm, because I do not expect you to think it would stop you from getting hurt if you allow something to hit you. All my warmest virtual hugs to you while you are out in the world.

I will try to be around, but it does get lonely when it's quiet around here.

All my recruits are restless, all night last night and this morning. I think, they have been trying to tell me something.

I heard them singing, "We Shall Overcome", in such a heart-felt way, I am ashamed. Why did it take a mass protest for me to see from their perspective; I have been treating them as slaves. They will no longer work for me. I will not try to make them do anything anymore.

I will be glad to keep the cafe menu fresh and the urn boiling, and the water cooler cool and also fresh. Stale water is like old dish water.

I have some Lamingtons, and chocolate crackle, and egg and lettuce or tomato ham and cheese (very special cheese) sandwiches. Toast them if you like? I would like a picnic on the rug, with all the insects invited to join us.
