It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

We just need a name 🙂

Eight..I love that you are going to get into those M&M's, as what to do next with your life, I kind of think that is somewhat exciting. To have a canvas that you can create your own picture of what it looks like. And as with any canvas you can paint over it at any time with a new picture, it is not permanent!

You are very right, stripes and especially horizontal do emphasize size (say that three times..lol)..being a size 14 it is something I try to steer clear of for this very reason!

Hi Sarah our friend , getting close to moving day now . Not a fan of moving but is cool once it Starts and awesome when done . Just think of when its done and you can sit down and have that first glass of wine or cup of coffee and survey your new kingdom xxx . I hope very much that it is a smooth move and your new home exceeds hugely your expectations xx .

I was terrified of moving when I did my first year of education dept with Allied Pickfords Kimberly section . Every second year was big and the other year was much smaller . Had a good guy with me who taught me many of tricks of the trade . Ed houses have basic furniture that stays in the house , we got eleven houses in a 94 cube jumbo van once ? Not a matchbox space left in that one .

Jo is the normal now . Monday was strange . There was no conflict dealt . Will have to do that with this work as we know the machine owners as we have moved them often .

Had a good conversation with trans lady in gender clinic town last night and we discussed Monday feelings a bit . What I get from her is that many of these things effects drop away as you become more confident in yourself . I get that and is very useful to have her to chat with .

Had a chat with my pilot lady friend to yesterday , she is up at her new old house that she bought in coalfields that she clearly adores . It is so nice to hear the joy in voice as she was describing it to me . She is in an abusive relationship still and trying to extract her possessions from there and just ignoring the danger as this process goes on . Not ideal !

Am off bike with LD , she is having a little event ? Special needs girl . Her birthday on 14 th June . 13 I think , will have to check that ?

Put big bar heater on that will warm us in the chair together .

The Tamil family from Biloela have been on my mind heaps . I am ashamed at their treatment ( hugely ). They were were working and paying tax in Bilo , as our government is becoming increasingly economically driven where is the logic in 3 years detention ??? Of course my shame does not come from economy but is humanitarian but ,REALLY !!!!

We had a good but freezing day yesterday . Had two really good interactions with council and a wonderful happy teleconference with gender doctor .

To cold to sit still so rearranging house a bit ? LD is ok now , she was very quiet yesterday morning . She has a cushion on kitchen bench and a chair always in place to jump up there where there is sun till midday . This weather she is either there or buried in -12 sleeping bag on our bed ?

Might try to reorganise 2 bookcases today ?

im hypertaste so putting Anything in my chocolate makes me feel immediately grossed out. yesterday i got given a 35g (???) creamy gold caramel chocolate bar so it ended up going to two people hanging at the doorframe saying they love caramel

i mean i'm one of the many people trying to make sense of the biloela tamil family and the best conclusion i can get is the cruelty is the point. if you've read no friend but the mountains by behrouz boochani (was detained for 7 years on manus, only got resettled in nz like last year. he's been writing about tharunicaa's situation too) he has the same idea and calls it a kyriarchy as it is. karen andrews' "compassion takes many forms" has been the death knell for me

Hi eight , thank you for dropping in . Appreciated , LD and I live in a deepening isolation just now . We have each other though .

I feel very upset about the refugee treatment in general . Cruelty is another tool in the fear toolbox I guess . None of this political evolution seems to have much if any compassion , and it certainly does not feel at all right .

Years ago I wore the orange overalls for green peace . That felt right and even the police thought that ( most of them )!

Cold makes me feel miserable !

Aftermath of last Monday has arrived over Thursday and built considerably . Fragility is much more than had thought it would be .

Will do a session writing today ! " I feel like I have to justify my ( Jo ) existence ? " is one thing and that is quite shattering ! It leads to another point " Does Jo have to have a completely new life? " ie: is the blend of Jo and the deadname incompatible ? Really did not expect this . There has been huge emotional upheaval in last couple of days . It's ok though . Am like a pilot when the aircraft has a problem , by knowing exactly what problem is can take appropriate actions to correct situation and have positive outcome .

Jo is safe , a patch of turbulence .

Had a call for a long distance job early yesterday and was hesitant so it went elsewhere . I thought at the time maybe not ready for this . The other thing is that I want to launch into getting a qualification in counselling or mental health so can be useful out here . Made contact with headspace yesterday and hopefully will have an appointment with local manager to discuss what and if my support ideas could be established out here and what it may look like ? That's exciting , I do hope it is possible or they may be able to help to get closer to it ?

Talked to older brother yesterday they have a place in ranges NW of Melbourne and had 120 kmh winds there with that front . Nasty weather especially with associated rain and very cold temperatures .

Tidied up other bookcase yesterday , did a bit of writing in the book ? Not much really , hid under a quilt with LD and read a little .

Mill hasn't got logs so we have loud music and timber workers close by , so stay inside when they are about ( visuals ) .

Hello my friend Sarah . Hope like yesterday that move went ahead and went well without rain to . Hugs & if so how does the white bed and table look in new home ? Is it to the satisfaction of 1,2&3 ?

Been stuck inside cleaning , reading and writing ? Dont want to go outside because mill workers all home drinking , noisy and in face etc ? No logs again ? Big crashes and bangs and fighting opposite at quarters overnight so broken sleep . LD is guts up sleeping now I am up and awake . She only dozes on top of quilt listening for fence or gate when disturbances outside .Little gem she is !

Have been dissecting last week in writing to . Closure for the loss of ------ ? Must be still grieving ? Thought we would get away with Monday but we didn't really . Got another to do late this week . Have tele appointment with psych lady Thursday so hope doesn't clash ? Jo is totally complete I think ? But the loss of ------ is deeper than I imagined it could be ? I get it but don't quite understand it ?
