It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

We just need a name 🙂

Hello my dear friend and apologies for the late reply, it has been super busy at work and each time I try to reply to you I am side tracked, very rude of them..lol

Please never apologise for a rant or purge or anything really, just as it is great to chat about all that is good in our lives there are times that we need to get rid of the annoyances and the grime from the day. There is never any offence taken from me, I can assure you of that. I am so sorry you have neighbours that are so very inconsiderate, I too am not keen on the people that live across from us. While the son suffers from mental illnesses, he tends to come over and need things from us. I am fine to talk with him and help him with his requests but it scares my daughter as he is around 40 years old and his face is covered with tattoos. He is really harmless but his appearance makes her scared.

I am starting to look to move myself as I have just sold my house in one suburb and I rent in another. Now I will try to find something nicer and with that hopefully the area will be more peaceful shall we say. I hear that it is hard for you to move so the issue of neighbors will remain, how frustrating.

I am so happy that last week has not lost its shine with everything that those neighbors presented, it is so wonderful that you are having such wonderful experiences and also that the doctors went so very well for you too yesterday, can I even say maybe better than you expected?

I will fill you in on the vintage market next week as we will make a trip this weekend and we are both very excited, I hope my purse can cope..lol

Poor LD that she feels she needs to go on strike, but the image in my mind of her being all curled up in a wooly jumper and on strike makes me feel so happy, what an adorable creature. Hugs for eternity to you little fluff ball. I have pets, I have three cats, yes ...three! We started with one, Rayven who is now 5, she is so full of personality and just adores people, she is a black and grey tabby. Then the little sisters of Poppie (ginger and white) and Aimee (mainly white with ginger and grey tabby markings on the back) they are 3. They essentially are my son's cats but as it would happen I have to look after them mostly..he just loves them.

Oh yes muffin day tomorrow and it is always so wonderful to have a fresh little bundle of warm cake with my Chai..happiness in two bites.

No updates on the skates as yet..haha

Hi Sarah , so happy that rant was coolish . It is rare . Am tired and is only 1530 . Woke at 0200 and didn't get back to sleep . Left yesterday's desto at sunrise and dropped truck at today's target at 1100 . Took LD for a huge walk around a beautiful park in that town ( like botanical garden ). Then got going towards home . Had enough today so stay here now . ( good tv reception here , friendly IGA and cheapest fuel on this road for very many km in either direction .

Am a little envious of your Vintage Markets though . I like very much nice cats with character . They are very loved by the sound of it . I feel for you and your daughter about neighbours . I dont understand people that are inconsiderate or disrespectful . Part of the human complexity I guess ?

Am on bed in the back of Mr A and LD is collapsed beside me . She can't sleep when the vehicle is moving so after her last burst of energy is gone she often drops where she is and only food or a good poke can wake her . Such a hard life for her . Its a good life but not very dogy . I was getting her to tell me with her snorts and head bobs last night for two other pilots and they couldn't believe it .

That was the first job as Jo , we didn't encounter anyone that knows deadname so it worked but they thought I was him not her . It went ok though . I was just waiting for someone to come along and call me up on the radio as ------ ?

That was good but want to know if being trans is accepted as a rule . Thought they would work it out but had baggy jumper on when out of car .

YAY , didn't get up till after 6 this morning and slept well till woke at 4 am . LD was warm and cuddled under the quilt till I was up and dressed. That's a miracle, usually gets up first and pesters me till I take her out . On way home again .

Have you been again roller skating ? Think you should as it sounded like soul food . ( and we both know soul food is good ) . That flu ( ordinary one ) jab I had on Wednesday has knocked me more than usual this year , still struggling a bit. Was going to rest Thursday but when job got brought to Thursday lunch time I lost my rest day . On way home Friday pm I got to edge of never never and really did not want to keep going . Did little shop in IGA and fuelled up then went to our little bolt hole there and didn't leave till after 8 yesterday morning . Home at 1300 . Still struggling a bit but it is lifting . Getting Astra needle on 26th and a bit worried about it . Have Crohns and asked doctor about safety with the crohns and she assured me is good and ok . Just hope she is right ? ( sure will be fine )

Hello Sarah , how was your mothers day , excellent I pray . Were there any wonderful treasures at the Vintage Market ? Another week ! Their pace frightens me a bit . What was your weekend weather like? A bit unseasonal here . Thunderstorms brewed up late yesterday . Luckily scattered and didn't become to intense .

Have discovered I am not alone here . Quite a surprise to me ? A pleasant one at that . Oh how glad I am for diversity . Been agonizing over whether to tell my customer (about trans as it is much more evident now ) in town yet or just keep pottering along as is? Need to know I think so might leave it for now ?

Just stopped then to cover LD with my huge blue hand knitted jumper ! Most of the time she is such a happy wee creature ( except when she goes on strike or has a sore tummy ).

Have to go to town today to chemist . Have to take Mr A to big town tomorrow for new exhaust but cant do local town then as Tuesday is its show day holiday tomorrow ? Want to take motorcycle today but then LD wont come , and tomorrow she has to stay home . Thinking I might see if I can get a haircut in big town ? Left the front a bit longer last time to grow it a bit but might go back to plan A the short rounding look with a lesbian twist ?

Do you have any plans for the week dear friend ? I might get a brisket and do some magic on it ? Have been mainly doing pork belly and all that has been stationary since 9/12/20 as this exciting journey has been front and centre .

Just starting to get energy back after ( ordinary ) flu needle last Wednesday . Only done half the bookwork from last trip ? Usually the first thing when home . Keep going and having horizontal rest with LD , of course she reckons thats awesome and cuddles up .

Hello my dear friend

Thank you for your mother's day wishes, I had a wonderful day with my kids, out for brekky, eggs Florentine and a skinny latte, then home for presents and then a busy day of kids sports. It was a bit of a mixed bag of emotions for me as I did really miss my mum and not having the catch up that we would have on this day and just her not being here.

I went to the market on Saturday with my friend and her son and also dragged my two along. I made a purchase of a stunning black dress, so very happy indeed. It is really like a room full of gold, you have to dig through stuff and you just don't know what you are going to find..so exciting. My daughter got a bag.

It is really getting very interesting hearing about your journey now Jo and the very close line you are at as to your full entrance into the world, hearing that you are in a place where no one knows you as anything else but Jo must be so refreshing, but as you said, that little worry that the radio goes off with "deadname"... I wonder so much how you are feeling about this and totally embracing Jo, that as you said, there are others that you are finding that are on the very same path you are, that Jo is coming to full flourish and so too are the other "Jo's", and all within your very community, how awesome!! I say go for it Jo, with the in town thing, go flourish and be you, own it and love it xx

I hear what you say in that some may see Jo and not know if you are a "he" or a "she" and I think that is probably due to their awkwardness and not wanting to offend. We are becoming so PC with pronouns now that people just don't want to get it wrong, or offend, and in turn with anxiousness, get it wrong or offend...so hard. I love that we are becoming so diverse as you say, I just think we have some way to go on the managing of it, and getting to a point where everyone is comfortable.

I can't wait to hear what you have decided with your hair, the choices are really endless and afterall, it is only hair and you can grow it and cut it, colour it and have all sorts of fun with it. I often think about getting a wig, just so that I can take it to the hairdresser, get it styled and washed and not have to worry about my hair...so lazy of me..lol

Enjoy the rest with that cute little ball of fluff, how wonderful that you can have some down time and a cuddle with her, especially on a cool day. It is a little wintery here today, here's hoping the sun pops out at some time.

Tell me , how have you been going with the house hunting ? I spent early life growing up in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges , ran away before 14th birthday though . Fond memories of the place not the people though . ( was a bit Tom Sayer ). It was rural then and there were quite a few commercial orchards to raid . mmmm . Even a hitching rail and horse trough in front of the general/grocery store . Wow , they used to wrap everything in brown paper and tie it with string from a bobbin hanging up then snap it when done in one movement . Houses and drains now ? Memories .

Realy want to know the reaction of folk ( out here ) when they can easily work out the trans bit ? Out here the general population is a very very long way behind the rest of the world . A local that I respect ( respect everyone but guess there are levels to that ?) said all those who had get up and go , got up and went ! There is a repetitive generational cycle amongst the ones that stay ? My 3rd wife managed a tourist attraction in nearest town and we used joke about the over the bridge syndrome ? Mums would forbid kids going over the bridge as many never returned ?

Was feeling guilty about abandoning the staff at our medical practice which is part of the hospital . ( has rotating doctors ) They care very very well for us all . Was in town with spare time yesterday so rang and wanted a private chat with one of the 3 nurse ladies who run it . So ended going straight around . Walked straight through waiting room and had a long talk with one of them and she was amazing and will fill the other 2 in . Wanted to tell them about me and why I was now at other place and was totally understood and they know the folk where am now and said wise move .

Was incredibly naughty yesterday , had a nine piece box of KFC ! Took all day to eat though . Went to town ( bigger one 130 km east ) to get new muffler on Mr A . After waiting half an hour while owner on phone he came out to tell me parts not here ? Thats a story in itself , suffice to say " supply chain " . While there I did a little shopping . Guess what I bought ? Some incense and a few little eye make up brushes ( got to get a color palette yet ) but also went to big store and got an iron and ironing board . how domesticated am I becoming ? ❤Jo needs to iron some things to look nice now . Deadname could iron but never needed to as baggy T shirts and work shorts were his wardrobe . ( little tear there . joy and a touch of sad ( good sad )). Back in the o d days was blue singlets black shorts and thongs ( preferably double pluggers ) , was a mid sized trim fit gorilla ( trying so hard to affirm assigned gender . I see it now ? Did it well though ) xxx.

Enjoy the drive though . LD was at home waiting ! She wont have a bar of me before I leave and have told her " stay day " but is always happy and nearly turns herself inside out when I return . Races from room to room with her dolly in her mouth ? Psycho puppy ?

All the highway regulars know each other by sight and many respond to the old school truckies wave ( like the masons secret hand shake . )( can't tell anyone as it is need to know )xxxx . Even some of the young strays wave back . ( reckon their dads were drivers back in the day )
