The Transcendent Rainbow Cafe - social space for LGBTI members

It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

We just need a name 🙂

I second that MsP...absolutely!

And yes; there's safety in numbers as well as connections of friendship.

No worries. I'm happy to help any fellow BB forum user 🙂 And don't worry if you take some time to reply. Sometimes we need to take some us time and have some time away from the forums.

Thanks MsP

MP I'll forever think of you as thread-boss in that place.

Welcome birdleirdle.

My brain is like sieve today. I know there were other things I thought of saying when I read all y'all's posts but now they've vanished. They would all have been highly intellectual and totally profound contributions, no doubt. But now thanks to the sieve you will all miss out on them.

Today is my 3rd least favourite day of the year but thankfully it's almost over.

I have whiplash had concussiom and have quite a few bruises nostly from the seatbelt.

They are starting to heal noe though. The whiplash i s still very much in full force though

thanks for asking

Hope everyone has been ok

Hi everyone.

startingnew that sounds painful, I'm sorry you went through all that. My mum went through a car accident around 10 years ago. It was horrible for her. Took her a while to get confident behind the wheel again. She also had whiplash. But with time off work and self care, she got well again. My mum says to follow doctors advice, take only what is suggested and to do physio if/as required. 🙂

Raynor you're too kind. I feel like this thread is good to have just light hearted convo. I don't mind if the other thread has quiet patches. Hopefully that means everyone in the LGBT+ community and our fellow ally(s) are doing well

Yeah ill get there. Im stubborn lol ill win

Wts everyone's weekend plans?

Well this weekend is fathers day. So tomorrow I am going to my dads for a bbq brunch. Before then me and my 15 year old sister are gonna go to the pool for a swim, do a few laps of the pool. My mum is also flighting to Brisbane tomorrow and staying 4 nights. Looking forward to it. What about yourself?
