The Transcendent Rainbow Cafe - social space for LGBTI members

It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

We just need a name 🙂

I am tempted to say, labels are for soup cans, which fits with the cafe with no name. Rainbows make me think of Kermit which warms the cockles. I may be biased with the Transcendent one. If it all gets too complicated I would go with, "The unnamed transcendent rainbow cafe."

Good morning folks at the LGBTI Transcendent Rainbow Cafe with No Name. 

I have just installed a jukebox in the BB Cafe and thought you might like one too. Yours is orange, to match the decor. It has every song you can think of, and a karaoke function too!

I've just been testing the BB Cafe's one with a squawking rendition of Born to Be Wild. Works a treat, though I expect I'll get thrown out if I do it again.

Karaoke party anyone? 😃

The "Unnamed Transcendent Rainbow Cafe" it is... for now... at least this will look amusing among the thread titles.  We can change it at any time - no plebiscites needed!

Mine was quite long to be honest, but I did manage to find a glass coffee table on sale during late night trading. It looks fabulous.

Hi All,

My Thursday was a little muddled but worked out okay. We had rain in our part of S.A. for what seemed like the first decent shower in about 6 months. 

I wanted to stay home to enjoy watching the water in the ditch slowly fill up the dam which was empty all of last year. I wandered around in my gum boots for a while then dragged myself off to work.

After work I checked out the dam again. Wish I had a little dingy to enjoy the dam while the water is in it! I let the chooks out for a run and noticed one of them has a sore foot. Poor Sofie. I grabbed a stick and dug about in the leaves for her so she could find some grubs and insects.

I meant to say congratulations on finding the coffee table. I am wanting an outside coffee table to go with a chair I have out there.

I might check out a couple of second hand shops and see what they have to offer, as the table will be out in the weather. I could stain it or paint it I guess.
