I'm so thrilled my custom-made earmuffs not only filter out sounds I don't want to hear but can give me sounds I like. I'd rather listen to some of the musicians competing in the Young Australian of the Year Awards. Or the Boyer Lectures, or some jazz to get me moving, with the music, not away from it.

I forget how I first came across '1984'. It may have been radio or film, or maybe my father had the book... I like it, even though I didn't get everything Orwell was writing about. Later, hearing it again as an audiobook, I understand more, & more after listening again.
Leftovers can be great - get you being creative & inventive & maybe discover some new food combinations you might not have thought would go well together. Like, corn relish & parsley, & cheese, of-course. I already like parsley & cheese. I was making a sandwich , & still have some corn relish to use up, & decided the sandwich needed a little something moist. I was a happy LRC!
