Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...

Stay safe folks remember things can be replaced people can't... it's scary seeing kids playing in flood water...

I am ok here the road was flooded here but it's gone down now.The sun is out now and very windy here which will help dry things out.

Hi Paws, it is worrisome if anyone is going into flood water - It can be deceptively deep & powerful. All sorts of rubbish & debris can be in there, so the flood water ought to be regarded as highly polluted & unsafe.

When I was young, we'd swum in the river prior to the flood, but were banned after. NOBODY was going in. Even the water over streets was unsafe. There is no difference with what's happening now.

Hi all

id like to play bridge mmMekitty I don’t know how but I’m sure it’s fun. I’m trying to learn new games. I bought a Texas holdem poker set but it’s boring with just 2 players. I’m learning computer games so I can play with grandkids.
Last of the cake was eaten today and I’m resisting getting more. Sugar addiction is real for me.
Hot chicken curry soup for dinner here. Guaranteed to clear your head I’ve got left overs.

I don't actually know how to play Bridge either, MC,😸 but I do like poker. Not gambling, just for fun, maybe for (literally) peanuts.

Most games are better as a social event. & I agree, they are also better with more than two players.

I used to play a few games, which I downloaded, because I don't feel comfortable with playing Online. Card games, (but I don't recall Bridge being offered), Backgammon, & some games made specifically for people with vision loss, too. Some seemed to become predictable. If I could play more than one player myself, I tended to 'cheat' favouring one particular 'player'. 😼I do like to win.😺
