The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

I'll just pull another comfy chair next to Wayne and give Lucy a pat. I don't even want to think about my own thoughts anymore. I think I will just listen to Lucy purr and fall asleep.

Hi Yggy.  Thanks for dropping in, its always good to see you.  Glad you're okay.  But are you sure?  Because Lucy is Wayne's little dog, and as far as I know, she doesnt purr??  Wayne, you never did change your profile picture to one of Lucy.  What happened?  Yggy, do you perhaps mean newly desexed Cafe cat Mocha and her kitten Latte? Sleep soundly Yggy.

Its all quiet on the Cafe front I see.  I was hoping to catch someone up and about, but not to be.   ) - :     Actually thats pretty selfish of me, given that its 3am, and most people should be sound asleep.  Oh well another time.

Kaz are you still having internet issues?  How's work going?

Unfortunately yes, not much sleep again last night.  The usual nightmares had me up and about again.

Its just gone 7.40am.  Rain gone, and sun shining!  Much as I like the rain, I think we need some sunshine now. It would be nice to feel as 'sunny' as the morning looks.

Hello to anyone else dropping into the Cafe this morning.  I wonder did KT have any lunch for the workers today?  I'm going into work today, but only probably for an hour or two to get a few things done.

Perhaps we will get some cricket in today for the final day of the test.  I still have my reserved sofa seat in front of the telly.

Good Morning all,

It was nice to just sit in the cafe yesterday with some friends around have a drink or two and just be. Hey yggy thanks for the company glad you didn't want to chat as I was not up to it…but your presence was comforting.

I have tried 4 times to post Lucy's photo but must be something wrong there, i will try again later today and see how it goes.

Need to go now and try to do things which need doing I'll catch up with you all later.

Sherie, I hope you sleep better tonight. I was up around the same time but more interested to find out if my daughter had her baby than coming to the cafe. Not a grandma yet, but I'll pop in with the bub when its born. Especially during the night!

Must have gotten confused with all the pets we have, I swear I heard Lucy purr 🙂

Wayne, sometimes it is just great to be. I so much wish we had a real cafe like this, we could plan to meet as our "pleasurable activities" from the course. 

How is everyone else?

I'm ok, had a productive morning and now building up to see the psych. I am always anxious before I go there, I never know how I feel after.

sorry about no lunch. Bit busy this morning. I hope you all managed to find something. I'm dropping off some big fruit salads for afternoon tea. That should keep everyone going until dinner time. 

Awww Mocha and Latte, u r just too cute! I washed all your bedding this morning so you both have fresh beds to sleep in tonight. Also brought u in a couple of new toys to play with.

im off to a psyc appoint soon. Not feeling that great about it. Not a huge fan of talking at the moment. Still in holiday mode 😀 Best go though.

keep the tunes pumping!! Has anyone heard pentatonix? YouTube it if u haven't. Love it.

Oh Yggy, you're about to become a grandma?  How exciting.  Will this be your first grandchild?  They are such good fun!  I have 6 grandkids, ranging in age from 17 down to 3.  Actually they arent really my grandkids, they are technically my step-grandkids.  But they treat me like a real grandparent, just like all the others.  I look forward to hearing when the little one arrives.  And definitely bring him/her into the Cafe for all of us to meet.  It could become pretty crowded in here, couldnt it?  People, pets, babies.  One big happy family.  

KT - Dont worry about not providing lunch today.  You deserve a break!  As it turned out I got home from work about 1.30pm, so I had some nice fruit for lunch then.  Think I am all fruited out now though, so I think I will give the fruit salad arvo tea a miss today.  But I do have some lovely white grapes I picked from our vine earlier.  I had some for my lunch, but will drop some more in to you to add to your fruit salad.  I am very pleased I managed to keep the birds away long enough this year for them to ripen.  Nice and plump and sweet too, so I think you will all enjoy them.  I have plenty, so let me know if you want more.

It sounds like thursday is psych day?  With both Yggy and KT having appointments today.  I hope your appointments go well ladies, and that you gain from them what you seek.  I dont see mine again until early Feb, which will be my last appointment before I need to get a renewal of my mental health plan. Not looking foward to it either.

Wayne - good to see you have been around a little more over the past couple of days.  And I'm looking forward to seeing that long awaited photo of Lucy.  Then Yggy will know that she's a dog and not a cat.  Although Yggy may have heard Lucy snore, rather than purr perhaps.  Does she snore sometimes?  I know Holly occasionally does.
