The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

I would rate the latest Indiana Jones movie as 9.5/10. Lost me briefly couple times, that being said I had a lot of things on my mind. I’m someone who gets more out of these movies 2nd and 3rd I watch them. I’m a fan of the series and am hoping Dial of Destiny is released on dvd as soon as possible.

Hi Paul, Patches and everyone…..🤗..
I can’t wait for the new Indiana Jones’s movies to be released onto DVD…I am a huge fan and must have watch all of them dozens of times….
I have bought an old steam train 🚂 done it up and have parked it in the cafe’s carport…or should I say Trainport 😁.…It will be great to be able to have scenic tours around the beautiful gardens, lakes, ponds and forests we have surrounding our amazing cafe….The first train carriage, is fitted out with soft cushions and pillows a few weighted blankets, some soft music and calming pictures hanging on the walls for anyone needing “Time away” and just wants to chill out in peace…There’s even a food carriage complete with a full kitchen and smorgasbord, just in case the tour takes a long time….
I tried out the kitchen and made some Pizzas 🍕 to add to the smorgasbord…Im a big fan of Pepperoni with olives, anchovies, cheese (lots of cheese), tomatoes and a sprinkle of basil on top..
Hope everyone enjoys the up coming weekend…and the weather is perfect for whatever you want/feel to do…
Big hugs everyone..🤗🤗🤗.
Grandy..

Hi everyone
Grandy, hope you won't mind if I take the train for a jaunt over to Croix's? I've a sleepover in mind. I'd love to take everyone from BB Cafe & anyone else too, to make it a very big sleepover. I was planning several episodes of The Waltons, but right now I am in the mood for lots of Mork & Mindy.
If we circle Croix's e iceberg a few times, I'm sure we can screen Indiana Jones for the fans.
I'd still like a tour around the BB Cafe surrounds, which are stunning first thing in the morning - all the frost glistening, the birds chirping from all the trees, too, & when the sun warms our faces, & I can feel like a kid in a storybook ... that would be magical.
Pizza sounds great - but I'm going to have other toppings. Last time I had onion, capsicum, kangaroo sausage pieces, pineapple with cheese. I enjoyed that combo.

That train ride sounds great!! Sitting back relaxing in luxury seating with pull out side table, the large side windows and glass roof in the passenger cars to be able to take in the scenery from all angles. Might tuck myself up into a chair under a blanket and get comfy for the train ride.
Pizza does sound good - bacon pieces, mild salami, mushroom, ham, pineapple, egg and mozzarella cheese.
went to a local community market this morning. Was bit chilly but enjoyable drive plus some bargains made up for the cold, the stalls nestled in and around trees in a park area.
Have dropped in some vanilla slices plus macaroons of various colours to be enjoyed by everyone.

Hello Patches & everyone
I fell asleep on the train - sorry if I was snoring ... at least I wasn't driving today!
Oo, I Like macaroons & vanilla slices, preferably together.
Great idea to go to the markets if you can. If nothing else, it's a way to get out & maybe meet & chat with people.
It was a bit chilly here today, so I have made some chicken kiev, with the addition of tomato paste & cheese on top. While baking, the chicken kiev, I also put some potato pieces around it to make like little roast potatos bites. If you want to do this for yourself, add the tomato paste & cheese when your chicken kiev is cooked, because all we want now is to melt the cheese & warm the tomato paste. It was very nice & warmed me up for a while.
It was after having that for lunch, & while feeling good, that I went & had a sleep.

Hello everyone…..🤗..
Patches, Vanilla Slice, Hmm aren’t they so delicious…If it okay I’ll take one over to the pagola with a cup of hot chocolate and just sit for a while, watching the gorgeous butterflies flittering around the Cherry Blossom Tree…
It raining here today, I’ve taken a medium size carpet out of my lounge room and have put it out in the rain..to clean it😂…The rain does a better job then I do when I try to clean it…okay it will take a few days to dry, with all the frost we have out here..but I have enough patience to wait for it dry…I’ll light some scented candles, while I polish my furniture and ornaments, I have a nice collection of glass balls and paper weights…that are covered in dust and have lost their shine…One of my favourite ones is a dark green glass ball that has lots of bubbles inside it…Does anyone collect a certain type of ornament?….I do also have a few elephant figurines I like…
Enjoy your day everyone…
Grandy..
I’m happy that the steam train’s 🚂 maiden voyage went well…😁..

Hello Grandy
I've got a sunny day today, & it's getting warmer than yesterday, too, though, looking at the forecast, it may not be repeated tomorrow when I go for hydrotherapy.
I've got some wooden things, like bowls, a little house, Mekitty's sealed bowl, a ladybug back massager, which all are tactile. I also have some bird ornaments in my kitchen window, alongside a fake plant, a small blue mouse, a rose gold painted bunny, & some smooth glass pebble/stones which are supposedly have healing properties, but that's not why I have them. I only thought they'd have pretty colours to add to the windowsill display.
I also have a porcelain sleeping cat, painted grey all over, atop my bookshelf.
I also kept a few of the small toy furry mice Mekitty had. They are tailes, because Mekitty ate the tails off all these mice... & a plastic spider missing a few limbs, too.
You can see where LRC gets her mischievousness from.
Oh, & I have a little multicoloursed frog somewhere, too.
If I had more room, more shelves up high enough so I couldn't be knocking them over all the time, I am sure I'd hav many more ornaments around the place. I had wanted to have many of the lead crystal ornaments I used to see around, often in jewelry stores, but was uneasy about breaking them too frequently. I simply loved how they reflect light & colours everywhere.
Now I would like more tactile, preferrably wooden objects. I'd like if they are carved, or if the wood grain can be felt. I could feel a texture in Mekitty's sealed bowl, which was why I chose it.
I know you like the rain, Grandy, nevertheless, I'd like to send yuo some warmth to wrap around you, too.
Happy day everyone.

Hi Grandy, mmMekitty and everyone,
this morning started off looking so nice with the sun coming in to my room and the lounge/dining area. Was cold, single figures inside which soon warmed up with the heater on. Early afternoon and it’s overcast with light grey clouds and temperature is slowly dropping. Time to snuggle up on the couch with my 2 purry hot water bottles.
finally got around to getting into the garage, moving some things, taking pictures and trying to sell somethings online. SB especially loves getting into the garage and investigating everything. Not sure what he investigates each time as nothing has changed in last few weeks.
I’ve got few different types of ornaments, majority of which live in my Queen Anne china cabinet which I was lucky to inherit. I’ve got some little statues of cocker spaniels, some ceramic teddy bear statues of different sizes, tiny miniature houses some of which my mother in law gave me. Not so much ornaments but have tea set that I inherited from my mum where all the pieces are in design or thatch roof cottages, large collection of soft teddy bears each in different costume representing different activities or jobs.
favourite of all my nick knacks is my perpetual teddy bear calendar.
I don’t have a lot of wall space. Most is taken up with couple of paintings, my wall of framed pet pictures, counted cross stitch and diamond art I’ve done.
weather predictions for here for coming week don’t look good with rain predicted for half of the week and one night predicted to drop to 2degrees.

Hello everyone
I like reading about lots of stories and movies and food and train rides and anything that people write about.
