The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Hello everyone,

It is nice to see everyone in the cafe! I am so looking forward to seeing the Elvis movie also, I hope it was good monkey magic! Lot's of aromas and poetry in the cafe it's lovely to see. I'm eyeing off the spaghetti bolognasia as we speak, it is smelling and looking pretty good. I'll order some garlic bread as a side plate, please.

I have been turned down by the NDIS again (third time) gees they are so hard. I will appeal this decision as I had four solid letters for my case. Also, I have been prepared for surgery, but it has been postponed for six weeks due to my recent flu. I understand everyone has to be careful but I am so looking forward to my current pain ending. So of a bit of a meh day. The hug would be nice Grandy. I'm sure the spaghetti will fix it too. Hope everyone is traveling well!

😸 I might be the only one who doesn't want to see any Elvis movie,.

Had more time with puppies, now 3 weeks old, & their eyes are barely opening!😹 Still, I can hardly believe how good it feels to sit & hold a puppy.

Hi Leisa,frustrating & disappointing, about NDIS & having your surgery postponed. So sorry. I have been hearing for a while how difficult it is for new applicants. I thought it was difficult when I first applied, when it was all new, & we, here in QLD were about last to enter the scheme. Even then they would not have considered my mental health to be a sufficient reason for needing support. I still maintain, my mental health needs more support than my diminishing eyesight. I did get my mental health condition in as a secondary disability.
