The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open

Happy April to everyone.

what does April hold for everyone.

Hi quirkywords, happy April!

for me it's the cool weather and the autumn colour 🙂

Hi meKitty, I had some spaghetti tonight but no clams. Silky creamy sauces are best for the clams 🙂

Happy belated April!

For me, it's been getting into music again - gothic no less! XD. I've been sleeping on this genre for so long, maybe it's just the very thing I needed for my mood just now, super cathartic! 😄

On The Road ah, that's why I love Autumn too! 😄

Hello Everyone....

April is to me, the middle of a beautiful season, full of colourful leaves...cooler weather, finish of daylight saving yay....(which I dislike)...I like the shorter days...

The biggest thing..is today, which is in April...is the day I picked and cooked my very first ever home grown butternut pumpkin...I roasted some of it...and it was yummy...

Hope everyone is okay and manages to get some good restful sleep tonight.....Feels good to be rugged up in a nice warm blanket...something very soothing about it...

I do think it would be very rewarding to grow a little of your own food. 😺Having it there, tending the plant/s watching them grow bigger, then when right for picking, bringing it inside, still warm, touching, smelling it's freshness, & preparing the meal which includes your own produce, & finally enjoying, reflecting as you do, on the work you did to have this as part of your meal. 😺

I declare, today, April 6 is Butternut Pumpkin Day! Hooray!🎆🎇🎆

Hi Cafe!

April for me is the school holidays and trying to find fun things to do for my boy. We visited an animal sanctuary this week. Visit another art gallery, followed by lunch with the ladies in my club. Go to the hospital to have an examination on my foot which was operated on in 2019, but has gone pearshaped. I hope they can fix it. Hopefully starting to pull out the cardigans for Winter. Family birthdays and of course Easter! Hope you all have a good one!

Iam trying to start a herb garden but I have no skill st gardening. I thought herbs would be easier than vegetables.

I don’t even know when school holidays are.

April is a busy month for me.

Hello everyone, how is everyone. Does anyone find the weather affects their mood.?

Hi everyone,

I used to know when school holidays were by the fact the kids weren't on the bus in great numbers at the end of the school day, if I happened to want to catch a bus at that time. Or if I was in a shopping centre, or in the city, there were more kids around during school holiday days.

It's more difficult now, because I'm going out with my helper instead of using public transport. & we get to talking & I barely notice much beyond our immediate, maybe about 2 metres, area.

Hi Geoff,

I had a tank many moons ago... I used to have small water snails in my tank to help keep it clear of algae build up on the glass... from memory it did take quite a few of them
