The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

For me a brief call with a friend today was healing

And an ice cold drink. I left my wallet at home but found 2 50 loose change....so muggy today u just need a cold one !

I almost forgot my mask this morning as I had to go into pathology this morning.I have forgotten the nice lady's name in there.She has worked there for years but still can't think of her name.It probably come to me in my sleep.

I am sorry sleepy you forgot an appointment.I use to have the best memory but these days I seem to have a habit of forgetting things.

Hi Sleepy & Matchy,

My memory has become so unreliable, I have to make notes of almost everything.

My notes for appointments include the day, date, time, personor business I have the appointment with, & maybe even why. & then all I got to do is to remember to check my calendar notes. That's the tricky bit, so I have forgotten a few. My helper is keeping note of some appointments for me, because she drives me to & from these. That is very helpful for me.

I have an appointment later this morning, & I have had to check my notes to remember it. I had to confirm I was going to attend, so I phoned my helper too, & she had it in her diary, so would have been at my place in time to take me. I might not be ready to go if I don't remember or am not reminded early enough. In time, I may ask her to call me to be sure I am up & dressed, ready to go.

I ought to use my phone for reminders - just haven't haven't worked out how to use that feature. Of-course I don't think I'd like my phone alerting me

Thundery for a few hours this morning, & when it became louder & the rain came pouring.down, I couldn't sleep anymore. But it is getting better now, dark but better. Enjoying my coffee.😸

So sorry that folks down south are having so much rain & all the damage & loss of life from it.

Another 60mm of rain here and no power for 3 hours and the roads are all flooded again.
