The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Just parked the chopper outside hope it wasn't too noisy. I'm here to watch the cricket and maybe have a few beers. Does BB cafe sell beer? or is it just my imagination!? Hope you all had a stellar New Year's and Happy Days for 2016! Now, where is that telly over there?

Oh goodaye there TMB. Kaz said to expect you. Yep, they sell beer here, along with anything else you can imagine. Go get yourself one from the bar fridge and come and finish watching the demise of the poor old sydney sixers with me. I probably wont stay much longer though as I'm hoping to catch up on some lost sleep tonight. Please lock up as you leave as its pretty quiet tonight and looks like you are the final customer for the day. Sorry things are not a bit more lively for you. But hey, come back tomorrow to watch the start of the Sydney Test match. Expect you'll find more company here then. Hope you dont mind cats, we have a couple of Cafe cats. Mother is Mocha and kitten is Latte. Make sure they stay in when you go. Be careful getting home on that monster bike out there!
Okay gotta go, but maybe see you tomorrow......

I'll take you up on that offer of a beer, I can't get to sleep tonight, too many bats in the belfry! I'm going to have some hot and spicy noodles to eat as well. I'll miss the sydney sixers losing but I'll try to catch the Test at Sydney later today. Thanks for the invites... I love kitty cats, used to have a siamese called Boris years ago. He could almost talk! Mocha and Latte are cool names for cats, not sure about Double Expresso lol. Well, I better lock up, cats are inside, will ride safely. Nice talking to you.

Hey all,
TMB, glad u have joined us!!
i didn't know we had a stash of beers. I'm going looking for some bundy rum!! Not for now though, just woke up. Maybe one this evening.
to be honest, I'm not much of a cook but I tried to bake some double chocolate muffins. I left a batch on the table. Let me know what u all think. I did a taste test before. I think they are all good.
We had some extended family over last night. We got along so well. Great to find some fam that you click with. Feeling good about it! Must do it again.
im off to clean the kitty litter out. I forgot yesterday and there is a lovely aroma. Will leave the windows open to let everything out. Only good food smells in here!!
I'm starting to perk up a bit at the moment. Felt down for quite a while. Don't know if it will last but will enjoy it while I can. Holidays have been good to me. Still have a week and a half off work to go. Hopefully will start the work year better than it ended last year. 2015 was a very hard year...2016 has got to be better!!!
I must bring my old pup in here to say hello. I made her a 'dog mobility scooter' (modified pram) so she can still join me on walks. We tried it out yesterday and she loves it. Feel a bit silly pushing it, but it's not about me, it's for her so she can enjoy time outside.
Have a great day

Hello all.
KT, I'm not much of a cook either. But those double choc muffins look pretty good. I've only just finished a late Sunday breakfast (ham, eggs, tomato) which was pretty good. So I wont have a muffin now, but if there are any left when the cricket is on, I reckon I could be easily persuaded. Thats good that you managed to click with some of the family. Do they live nearby to you, or just visiting from elsewhere during the festive season? Urgg, thanks for doing the kitty litter. Now we can enjoy the aroma of fresh coffee, muffins, etc again.
Yep, TMB called in last night. It was good to see him. I reckon he may be in again later today as well, to meet some more of the regulars here. I was a bit worried about the big bike he rode in on though. Especially since he had at least one beer. Not a lot of protection on a bike if you were to come off. But he did have all the leathers and protective gear, so thats about as good as you can get I guess.
Oh, thats great about modifying a pram for your dog so she can still get out and about. Fantastic that she loves it. Definitely bring her in so we can meet her. Holly is good with other dogs, so she will welcome her too. Dont feel silly about pushing her along in it. People will see whats happening and will think what a great idea it is. What breed of dog is she?
Hi Kaz. Yep managed to get a bit of sleep last night thanks. Enough hopefully that I dont embarrass myself by falling asleep on the comfy sofa while I watch the cricket there today! I've not heard a lot fromWaynelately either. But I know he's around because he has been on the "Follow that Word" thread. And there was a brief post from him a couple of days ago that he is doing it pretty tough at the moment. So I hope he is feeling better again now, and Wayne if you are listening - come on in and watch the cricket with us buddy. It may be good for you, and I'll bet Lucy would enjoy meeting all the other doggies too. Is she okay with cats? Holly is good with them.
Okay everyone. Nice chatting. I have some household chores to do before the cricket starts. See ya later...

Hello everybody. Well for anyone who hasnt caught up yet. The cricket has just started. The Windies won the toss and elected to bat. So the Aussies are now bowling on a dull day where they already have the lights on! Not looking good for a full days cricket in other words. So we better make the most of it while its on.
So I have just settled into my reserved seating (thanks Kaz) on the sofa in front of the tele. Hey KT, the chocolate muffins are yummy - thanks heaps. Okay, lets enjoy the cricket. The rest of you must be busy, as I think I'm the only one here yet? Just come on over and join me on the sofa when you arrive. I'd appreciate someone to talk cricket to.
