Don't ask what you will win being the last to post, it will be something useless.

You were first, here, for the NEW Year

But I was last for last year, posting as I did, very near Midnight, Qld time - so there - not that I care about being last, of-course, but just wanting to make my final post for 2022 to be, here, for you.

Nice to see you around for brunch. I've had some macadamias & an orange today. I'll make my salad soon, for a proper lunch.

My neighbours were quite quiet, until this morning, at 7am. & then some more an hour later.

It's oddly nice to hear nothing except my tinnitus, & my occasional typing & the text-to-speech voice from my PC, or the book reading I have paused while here on BB, or when I sometimes mess about with the Garage Band app on my phone, while thinking. Today, I want to get up & exercise while thinking about what to post.

How about after lunch, we just relax in the clearing, watch the clouds, listen to the various birds & insects. You can spot the butterflies, that is, if they don't mind. I'll smell the flowers & fruit.

Did you spot any butterflies? If so, what colour were you spotting them with?

I noticed some purple flowers, & got a pretty good photo, to send to myself, to trim it up & use it on my desktop.

Use to be another such plant against one of the exterior walls. That was long ago, when I took a picture of that plant, with its purple flowers, there were a couple light green moths, (I think) hovering around them, so I had them in my photo then. , But not this latest.
