Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Feel free to join in!

Fortunately Deebi had a hair dryer to dry Grandy's shoes as well as some shoe colour to fix the colour.

Unfortunately the hairdryer shrunk Grandy s shoes. Lol so Deebi, gave Grandy one of her shoes and they both hopped off to the park.

Fortunately all the local kids thought this hopping business was a great new game and wanted to join in. So all the neighbourhood kids hopped right along after Deebi and Grandy.

Unfortunately some of the hopping kids fell over 😞 However, Grandy, Deebs and Mandy were there to help them up... so good.

Fortunately I have first aid training and was able to patch up the cuts and scrapes and send those happy kids back on their way to fun and games.
