Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Unfortunately Topsy had no internet service so she decided to go to the psych before she got home.

Fortunately Topsy had to pass by the coffee shop & after serious consideration decided to spend her money on coffee & Black Forest cake, rather than the psych. Mood much improved!

Unfortunately only for a short while, because the sugar levels dropped from the cake. However, Topsy found a 2 x $100 notes in her low sugar level so was able to make to the psych.

Fortunately she visited the psych, and felt better or did she? nope, she felt worse, so she went home and went to bed.

Unfortunately, she couldn't sleep so she tossed and turned all night and was tired when Morning came.

Fortunately today is her rostered day off, so she’s having a slow yummy breakfast & coffee. Then she’s going back to luxuriate in bed because we all know those who can’t sleep at night can sleep easily during the day.

Unfortunately the neighbour was mowing his lawn so she tossed and turned before eventually falling asleep.

Fortunately she had a dream about walking along a river bank and feeding the ducks

Unfortunately the dream turned into a nightmare & she fell down the bank & into the muddy river.

Fortunately she saw the funny side of it and then realised she got a free mud bath with all the essential vitamins and minerals and she woke up refreshed.
