You are not alone. You should really tell someone about what's going on. Like a psychologist. Go to a doctor so he can refer you. A family member as well, a friend, even chat online with beyond blues counsellors they are so helpful. Please let me know if you need to talk. You are not alone.

Hi WTW,
In 2003 I was diagnosed with bipolar 2, dysthymia, anxiety and depression. I have similar symptoms of which you describe.
I tried 15 types of medications before I found the right ones. Life has improved out of sight since then - 2011.
In my case mood stabilisers were the answer with a small dose of an anti depressant.
Take it further and see an expert. It's worth it

dear WT, thanks for posting your comment.
What you have described to us are the repercussions of this awful illness, depression, and what I am about to say you won't agree with, but please hear me out.
A lot of us refused to take any antidepressants, because we believed that we could overcome this debilitating disease by ourselves, and with myself I was in denial, but you aren't as you know that you have it, however you won't be able to overcome this illness by yourself, you need help by a psychologist.
In turn they will discuss your rejection of wanting to take AD's, the pro's and con's, and yes the arguments for both of these considerations both have a valid answer to, so please I implore you to at least listen to both sides, but I would also like you to go in with an open mind.
The reasons for either decision also have the pro's and con's, and there are many other people who initially won't take AD's, but the proof is in the pudding.
I hope that after these comments you still will stay with us, because there are many people on this site, all of whom may have different opinions, but there is one common tread and that is that all of us want this depression gone. Geoff.
