I'm new to this website. I've been struggling with anxiety for my whole life. It got worse after I had my last child quite awhile ago now. It has got worse over the last year or so. Stress from my marriage break up & from negativity from my workplace. I'm so confused as what to do next.
I'm not sure if I want to give my marriage ago again or not.
I've found a new independence in myself since my marriage breakdown so I'm not sure if I want that to change.
My workplace has seemed to cause me a lot of stress at the moment.
I'm so sick of my anxiety & how it makes me feel. It's hard for others to understand it.
I feel so lonely.

Hi Justme00,
It sounds like you've had a pretty hectic time of it with your anxiety and life events over the past few years. I can only imagine how you have kept it together with anxiety and a marriage breakdown and a stressful work environment.
Unfortunately I don't have a neat little packaged answer to offer you that will make it all okay, but I can offer to walk with you a while. Whilst its not a substitute for real life connection, sticking around here on the discussion board is a genuine point of connection that can really help with loneliness.
You mention you have found independence since your marriage dissolved. That sounds like it's something you celebrate. I hope you're able to replicate this positive in other areas of your life such as work. Is there anyone you feel you can reach out to for further exploration of how to reduce the stress you're feeling in the workplace? A GP, mentor, counsellor, etc?
Hope to hear from you soon. It's great to have you as part of the Beyond Blue community! 🙂
