I don't fit into any of the health professionals neat little boxes so I posed this question to them.
I did not receive an answer as such.
I am not depressed I am 'stuffed'.
How do you replenish your Qi when you were raised inside of a narcissistic washing machine, head jam, but you still have the puppy to look after on the Sorbent ad?
And you haven't started discussing your own needs/wants in life yet.....

Oh Cornstarch,
I have no answer. Hopefully someone wiser and more insightful than me will reply because I've nothing to offer other than this narcissistic washing machine of yours sounds a lot like my grandma...extremely charming to the outside world. She saved her best work for her blood relatives.
As I said, I've nothing to offer but some degree of understanding.
Hang in there,

Oh my god, so true.
It's literally a 'double life'.
They are likeable, loveable and charming to the 'outside' world, but on the 'inside' they release their wrath.
You are the punching bag. They are desperately worried what the world thinks of them, pretending they are sympathetic and caring, when all the while they only see themselves.
They inflate their pain to such a degree you will find yourself defending them, and becoming defensive when someone notices their unreasonableness!
But then you grow up and gain perspective.
That's why it messes with your head at such an undeveloped age. Washing machine head. You've got people telling you how great they and yet behind closed doors out they come.
Utterly exhausting.
Depletes Corny's Qi.

Hi Cornstarch,
You have pretty much said it all. I know you've been through more than I could possibly imagine (probably more than a lot of people could imagine).
All I can say is that you deserved (deserve) better. No one deserves a washing machine complex. In so many ways, I feel like I got off light compared to you.
You go have your cry now. I wish that I could offer something more insightful but I genuinely feel like I can't say anything that you probably don't know anyway (and if I tried, it would probably come across as condescending).
Behind your jokes (or maybe it's alongside your jokes) and what not- as I keep going on about- there's a wise soul. You have a lot to offer whether it's on these forums or offline.
Just...have your cry...and let's hope someone wiser than me responds.
Stay awesome.
Dottie x
