Hi Overwhelmedandscared,

Im sorry you are feeling this way.

I understand anxiety can be difficult I went through a anxiety disorder OCD it was severe.

Im now recovered thanks to the professional help I received.

Anxiety made my life very challenging but with the professional help I received I learned to manage my anxiety and so can you.

Please make an appointment with your gp and discuss how your anxiety is affecting your life, you could do a mental health plan together this will enable you to see a psychologist who can give you many strategies for anxiety.

I always felt scared and like I was running from something when I had anxiety but there came a day that I decided to stop running from it and turn around and face it head on. It was the best thing I ever did..

Hello Overwhelmedandscared, anxiety is awful and it is related to depression, although I'm not a doctor, but at some point, these can go hand in hand, one day depression takes over, while the next, anxiety can be more prominent and you can never predict which will be present.

Your counsellor needs to find out why you are feeling this way, they need to know what's causing it, although it may not seem to be apparent in a session, but eventually, it will all add up to them, so they can help you.
