After 48 long years think I have finally found the reason behind the fact that I always manage to stuff everything I do up... adhd and maybe asperger...
When I first started looking into it it was me to a tee...
All my life disappointment.. loneliness unable to maintain friendships, jobs, my marriage, each year worse than the last,self-blame, shame & loathing, depression, anxiety, suicide attempts, I need help to sort this out now

Hey ,
Welcome to our forums. We are so glad you have reached out here and shared what you are going through. We are so sorry to hear that you’ve faced many struggles in your life. It is great that you’ve taken the brave step in reaching out here, it’s not always easy to open up. You are in a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express how you are feeling. Hopefully you will the find support you need from our wonderful community.
May we ask if you’re currently seeing a mental health practitioner and have you spoken to someone about your thoughts about ADHD and possibly Asperger as reasons for your struggles? We would strongly urge you to seek professional advice and opinion on the underlying causes. If it turns out that it is ADHD (or anything else for that matter), then a professional can guide you in the right direction on the next steps to take.
You are also very welcome to contact our Support Service anytime on 1300 22 4636 or via webchat 1pm to 12 am at https://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support/get-immediate-support or via email at infoline@beyondblue.org.au
Please also keep posting here to let us know how you’re feeling, whenever you feel up to it.
You are not alone in this.

Hi Annie I’m not officially diagnosed with anything yet but my psychologist has mentioned to me that I have depression, social anxiety and general anxiety plus who knows what else. On top of that I have a learning disability, just on the autistic spectrum, GORD (the autoimmune side of acid reflux), coeliac disease and sleep apnea. If you ever need to chat I’m here for you ok.
