Hi
i would strongly recommend the mind spot clinic, it goes for 8 weeks and it's all online and they call once a week i think to chat to see how you are going , it's free and it is very helpful. i don't know why it isn't advertised more because it is an amazing resource available to the public that maybe can't afford seeing a psychologist like me. i have struggled with anxiety forever and it changed my perspective of my how to live with it and try to maintain myself well. I hope it helps you until you can get to see a psychologist.

Hi Rekstase,
This sounds very interesting! I have never heard of this before. Is it available for everyone? Is it Australian or run from another country?
Sounds like a good solution for NBAC and others who cant/wont see someone in person.

Hi Mummybee
it is available to everyone over 18 years old, you just need to do a screening before and choose to start the course, which starts on the first Monday of every month. It is in Australian and its funded by the Australian government. There is a tab on the beyond blue website get support >national help lines and websites with telephone and link.
I found by chance googling one day about anxiety, people should be more aware of their services because is a great treatment option to deal with anxiety and depression issues.
