Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

I quite like them actually" - It doesn't necessarily have to be with the button features. If you go to Ebay and type in 'french bed head' you'll get a fair idea of what they look like. My bed is French upholstered, with no button feature. Mine is solid dark wood with curved detailing, big stripe upholstered (dark beigh & white) Mines a full bed though. Your bed would defs pop. Hope this helps.

"I totally know what you mean about enjoying chatting to the instructors. I used to love that too. They help a lot. Do they still kind of circle and encourage you and give you tips for the workout?" - Yeh, they kinda do that but not really unless you ask for help, otherwise, you get left alone really. They like to have a chat and they wipe down surfaces. If you ask for help, they're really attentive and helpful, yes. Let me know how you go with the gym.

GREAT to hear you're back at they gym and loving it!

I LOVE MIRRORS TOO lol. They're everywhere at mine, no matter what I look like, I just love mirrors.

Oh yeah the Alexa / Angelo thing worked out lol... it's that SHE wanted to talk to me but we ended it bec he was coming over on the spur of the mo.
He helped her put together all her new IKEA furniture lol - he took her to IKEA last weekend lol.

I had to straighten Alexa out on a few comments he made, showing her how SHE made him speak in this way ie him holding back. She's set up VERY BIG walls with him and told him so.
She's said lots to him.
No wonder he's been more quiet.

So I was right.
The moment she said "blah blah (what mum told her lol)" he said YEAH okay let's GO!
And he's taking her 2h away to look at a new car for her.
Also for her birthday he's taking her to the LEGO something - they're both big kids and so they should lol.

I've never heard of a French Bed?
A 4 poster bed maybe?
IDK.

Mine is all very heavy timber and King sized lol. I LOVE the space!

When I move it into my new room, there are 2 lights on the wall I'm thinking to replace to like a chain to turn them on and off or something. IDK... I'll look around at fancy light fittings since they'll replace the need for bedside table lamps. YAY! Just perfect.

Not much else hapnin decorating wise except for putting up HUGE gold and silver baubles and tinsel all around my 2 conifers out the front.
And moving my loungeroom around.

If it's a fine day tomorrow I can decorate the trees.
If it's a cool day then I can move the loungeroom around.

Either way the pressure's off, Alexa says, about Angelo coming for Christmas.... there's something a little off about that.... I think she thinks he will look down his nose at my home and keep it to himself ofcourse but still, I think that's Alexa's issue with the whole Christmas thing.

Anyway she only found out today that she has the kids from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day. So since she's not introducing them to Angelo any time soon, that counts him out. For now.

All fine with me lol.

Prodigal son and gf are coming up this weekend.
A double bday party for Alexa and GF.

hey Blubs - i can see that not all French style ones have the upholstered, button style that was in fashion a while back - those square ones - they also have the nice arched ones and some wooden, some upholstered, all diff. I don't mind the button ones but I like when they are really big. thanks for the tip. I'm still learning the styles... Some are even rattan etc... in that arch style.
How's your house going? How's flatmate?

Will he be going away over summer or will be around?

Yeah I'm good. Really fat after dinner and got the rest to take home lol so it's Thai food for 2 more days yay!

You said you wanted to organise your kitchen?
I bought the cutest little clear containers with bamboo look lids from KMart a while back and went back and got MORE.
They were so cheap and have a sweet clean look to them.

I need about 10 more lol.

But I cleaned out my pantry a while back too and omg I LOVE IT.

I bought a rack shelf to go on one pantry shelf and I line up all the kids snacks like a shop in there lol!

I'd like to go through ALL of my kitchen cupboards maybe over the Summer but for now I'm still concentrating on the loungeroom and bedrooms change over. That will take many months, there's so much to do.

Are you thinking of returning to studying next year Sleeps?
Alexa is considering part time for the rest of her Psych stuff... I can't keep up with exactly WHAT "path" she's taking...
She REALLY needed the break but also missed the intellectual stimulation she says lol - NOT LIKE her mother lol! I couldn't WAIT to finish it all... blerghhhh.

Work is really intense atm but I'm enjoying really getting my teeth stuck into it.
I must be feeling alot better because before I found it so hard to concentrate.

Hey all, lovelies,
So I spent time with the gay, politician-to-be yesterday and still at his home now. Remember Ems, I told you about him. Met him on Twitter. He's bright, many hours hanging wirh him talking politics, life and other stuff. He knows a lot about our politicians. We're very aligned in views. He told me last night that Im VERY CUTE with a lil' body like a goddess. Looks like Im in my early 20s - this is from a gay man. Im proud of that. All the hard work defs paying off!! So its not in vain.
Gay men are so much fun to be around. I like him. Hes cool.

I second that, about gay men.
I was in Best & Less looking at dresses and the gay shop assistant said to me " Oh I love the dress you're wearing, you look like a jungle girl, oh and you have a great tan".
That day I left home feeling huge so the compliment was very nice. He made me feel good about myself despite my size.

Yeah I swam at the beach, got burnt and am peeling but I'm also much browner.

Do U lay in the sun? I used to all the time but these days my tan is accidental. Still, I love being brown. Been a whitey for a while though lol.
