Hi all,
I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

Hi Ems, Sleepy,
Ems, how did you go with your uncle? He didn't cause too much stress or spend too much of your money, necessarily? I hope you're happy with what he's done. You don't sound stressed at all with him though.
I cancelled my hair app't yesterday. I have one today at 12 (same time) - I'll let you know once its done. 🙂
Sleepy, if you can get white flatsheet, fitted and 2 pillowcases for your charcoal that'll look awesome. With the coral, get a coral colour throw blanket for end of bed and a smaller elongated coral pillow. I got a duck feather filled one from Ikea. These colours will look absolutely amazing. With the coral, you'd want to restrict too much of it, otherwise everything will be coral - lamps, flat, fitted, 2 pillows - wayyy too much coral here. Remember think 'splashes' of colour against muted colour. Keep it simple. Reason for muted, simple is that colour won't date.
Sleepy you said: "Blubs flirty housemate sounds fun - it will make living entertaining at least and u get along which is good .. i think he sounds easy going - would they be right? i hope he is good company when u need it"
Yeh, flatmate has been flirty and fun from the start. He works a lot, and long hours too. Sometimes he comes home in a shite mood but I always try to make him smile. He's easy going, yes. He's honestly really pleasant so far. He's respectful also. It's all I ask from a flatmate. Though sometimes I just wanna ... lol. So last night, he came home from work and I asked him for a hug - yes, we hug each other when he comes home (not all the time esp. when he's dirty). I was taking care of dinner and said "you've been working hard today". Him:"yeah, I'm sick of work, glad to come home to THAT smile of yours". Me: "I'd like a hug". Him:"I'm dirty". Me:"I don't care". He walks to the kitchen and put his arms around my hip. I put my arms around his neck and hugged him. I looked up at him and said "you smell like oil". He starts laughing. Me:"go take a shower, dinners almost ready".
Good for you girl, booking in for a blowwave next week. "U inspired me to keep it up" - I'm glad I can inspire you!! How are you blow waving it?
I'll be in and out of forum today so, brb soon.
xx

Hi Blubes and friends
It's almost 6pm, how did your hair go? Hope you're happy with it...
I like your design advice for Sleepy, it sounds really sweet!
Hey Sleepy you need to squeeze out ALL that Bluberry has to offer for you before I hit you ALL up for help with my mish mash of Lord knows what when I move rooms.
A serious MESS lololol and the deadline is for my "after party" next year.
I envisage mattresses on the floor for my friends sleeping over - IF there's room lol.
I've been in my PJs ALL DAY LONG and am loving it lol.
Oh yes Uncle stressed me out right at the very end, then he left. Then I had to recover lol.
No idea how much he spent... I haven't read the receipts OR looked at my bank account lol... I call it being "ostrichistic" - putting my head in the sand JUST for a while lol.
The SHOWER works again at least lol!
Prodigal son.
Look one thing - I'm REALLY proud of him making a 100% go at this new thing.
It can't be easy for someone with so much on his plate (and recovering from trauma too).
I KNEW that he'd keep his promise.
He said "One year" and a big thing in our family is keeping promises unless ofcourse, it's impossible.
He's doing REALLY well at the new school which must be really really hard for him, having NO teachers for THREE of his HSC subjects omg!
And gf is not doing any homework.
Son is Units ahead in Maths and doing all the extension activities.
Gf nothing. 7 Units behind.
She's depressed.
I know she was making a really bad decision moving down there.
She KNOWS I cared so deeply for her and they just don't give any attention to her, which she needs SO desperately being neglected and abused.
She told me on her last day that she's on anti-depressants but they're not working.
I was hard on her after I expressed empathy for the abuse but said "You're not going to be happy anywhere until you work through the things that have happened to which HARMED you".
She needs Counselling BIG TIME.
Alexa and I have told son not to let her bring him down.
He said "I'm not". Lol.
He got a job which is miraculous and they're training him for a supervisor role.
I point blank asked him 3 x if he was coming home to see us OR just picking up stuff.
He finally said to see us.
Which we'll see if that's true tomorrow lol.
YOU and FLATTIE omg.... turn on the air con you two!
Lol.
You're a big girl.
I'm SURE You know what you're doing.
Hugs.
YOUR HAIR!
Tell us about your hair!
Love EM

hey blubs - oh and he can cook?! and offers to cook?
i like him!
and i'm just happy he's a good flattie. u deserve it.
The curls sound amazing - yay they got it right.
yes agree EM the design help has been amazing 🙂 i love my new room with minamilsm and some nice touches. Yes almost got so overwhelmed today but seem to have the sheets and pillows now too. Classy 🙂 i wnted to ask also - any tips of what to put on top of a fireplace? like on a mantle or whatever it's called? Like there's a big space above the fireplace which would've been nice for artwork but i've installed my tv there. I see sometimes on the movies people put candles on their mantels - for like a classy look? and i saw megan markle's home recently in some interview and she had weird white bowls on the mantle - i guess a modern look. Any ideas? xo
hope all you wonderful women are well

Hey SLeepy,
What look are you hoping to achieve for that area? Since you've placed a flat screen t.v there, I would suggest group 2x tall modern vases on one side - any colour that'll match your decor and on the other side, a large silver clock. Pick colours that'll compliment your tele aswell. So if you've got a black t.v go white vases, if you've silver, stick with silver clock and black vases. Black will look awesome against the white wall also (I assume wall is white).
Yes, the man can cook. He's cute when he's cooking. I was watching him. Damn, he's cute!! So, we spoke last night (both tipsy on red) about our initial meeting. He brought it up. He said, "when you called me, and we spoke on the phone, I thought to myself - that voice .. hot". Then when I came 'round, I thought wow, you look like you're in your 20's pwhoarr .. cute as .. hot". I started laughing & blushing at the same time.
I said: "when I spoke to you on the phone, I didn't know what to expect. I never have any expectations whatsoever". But when you came 'round, I thought your big blue puppy dog eyes...when you took off your mask, I thought .. cute. I wasn't expecting that. He started to laugh and said "so, did you just wanted to .." I said, Nah sorry, in your dreams". He laughed. I should get him tipsy more often, he talks a lot more and opens up when he normally wouldn't. Neither of us are drinkers. Only sometimes.
Stayed up talking and drinking for a lil' while, listened to some music. Didn't sleep till later. It was a good night. 🙂

The couple that live in the house with child who I will be leasing from, but I'll be in the studio seemed just ok. I'm having reservations as well.
I don't know if it's a good idea to move my whole life there at this point. What if they cause problems for me?
Going off the vibe I got for the 25 mins I was there.

Hey monkey girl
I wrote on your thread about how I felt about your vibes. I call them "instincts", they're very powerful in women.
I reckon they'll turn out to be spot on BUT you may want to jump in anyway just to test them lol.
More on your thread.
More power to you WHICHEVER way you decide to go!
LOVE EM
