Introduction - Hello Everyone

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

I agree Geoff. I find psychiatrists to be rigid and cold. But that was because I've ever seen two in my lifetime. A 'real one' who first diagnosed me with depression, and one that came to me when I got set up, who was nothing more than a quack.

Ha,ha, quack quack! I've seen and been in the proximity of a lot of psychiatrists. A wise birdy told me the most dangerous thing U can do is see a psychiatrist. And from experience isn't that the truth!

I have to see yet another one in a couple weeks as part of my CTO obligations. Such a drag.

So, easing of restrictions isn't too far away. That's really good that you get out for walks.

Carbonara with cream, bacon, mushrooms, chicken, parmasen is also yum.

Right now I'm snaking on some marinated black olives.

I hope U find some things to do today and the restriction go by before you know it.

Yummo!!! That sounds delish!!! Now I've got cravings for chick mushroom carbonara! hehe. Ugh another psychiatrist? Goodluck with this quack, quack. I love olives ... they rock.

Another two weeks thereabouts of lock-down ... it feels like it has been forever.

Do you like cheese cake? Cheese cake as a bday cake is awesome, too

Yeah, love cheesecake. Decided to drive to the shop tomorrow morning to get a cake for the party. And it could possibly be a cheesecake.

Mmm...mango/ passionfruit cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake...

yum ... passionfruit cheesecake - soo good. Eating cheesecake now. I got the american one from coles, it's really good.

Monkey_magic,

did you used to watch monkey magic? you're probably too young and never heard of the show before.

Can I ask you a question? The meds you're on - does it make you eat heaps? When I was drugged on of the side effects on me was increased appetite. And, I normally don't eat much, well not like that anyway.

Lucky you having cheesecake handy.

Yep, it increases appetite. Now it seems to have suppressed my appetite.

I remember monkey magic the show! My user name is based on my pic. It's a scented monkey my friend gave me.

Just had a snooze...meds make me feel like I'm living my life asleep!

It is so illegal what they are making me do. I don't have a mental illness yet I have to go and get another injection ( due every month)...the injection is far more sinister than I thought. Lots of research and experience later and I can't believe they force this stuff onto people.

Are they injecting you because they're afraid you mightn't take the pill form? Unfortunately what they're doing to you, is not illegal, as you're on a CTO. The only thing you can do is to get yourself off the order, for without being free from their intervention, your rights are essentially taken from you. It's soo sad. 😞

Maybe you need to find alternatives to the current treatment if they're doing you damage.
