Scarey times at the moment massive bush fire near my land.

HEy Mark

Really scary times with these fires, it is just so horrific, how far away from the fires are you?

Are you talking an evacuation? Stay safe and I am thinking of you and your family.

Keep in touch and let us know how you are going, really scary.

Huge hugs

I heard this morning that my property went under but cant confirm it.The fire was 5kms west of me.Everyones been evaculated.

Hi Mark

I am so sorry to hear that you have had to evacuate and that you may have lost some of your property, that is just so scary and so very devastating, I hope that you are safe and that you have some people to support you through this time.

I would really like to know how you are and that you and your kids are safe.

Hugs

It is very depressing time of the year for me with added things this year with the bush fire as well.I will be spending Christmas by my self and it is a day of mourning for me.

Hey Mark

Great to hear from you and I hear what you are saying, I am not sure how I will be going this Christmas either, it is so hard when those you love are no longer here.

I also remember you lost your father on this day so that will be really tough for you.

I am trying to think of some things that we can do to make the day less stress filled and full of things that we "should" be doing and just try and make the day like any other day.

Hope you are ok Mark and I think of you often.

Cheers
Sarah

It was my mother that passed away Christmas day and i should have been there just like i should have been there for my father when he passed away 30 years ago.My mother had something she wanted to tell me,i will never know now.

Hi Mark

I am so sorry to get that confused, I thought it was your dad. Either way it is a shocking thing to have your parents pass and for you to be the one to find them as you mentioned before. I think it is harder as it is Christmas day and usually people are celebrating but you are grieving the loss of your parents.

Will you have your children on Christmas day this year?

I too will be struggling this year as will many as the "shoulds" come into place and we try to manage that.

Hugs

Hi Sarah,no i wont be having my kids christmas day, they are going to their grandparents with their mother.I will be spending christmas day by my self.I have them to the 23rd and on christmas eve i have to go to the hospital and have some more test done.

Hi Mark

That is great that you will see the kids pre Christmas, you can do your special day with them then, just because it is not the 25th does not mean you cannot celebrate.

I hope that everything goes well with your tests and that you are ok.

How are you going with the bush fires being so close and being effected by them, it is so utterly tragic and I see the reports on the news and it is just heartbreaking, it is just so very devastating. We are about to head into some really hot weather so I hope that it doesn't make the situation worse.

Big hugs to you Mark
