What are you doing over the easter break?

Hey!

What will you be doing over the easter break? Family? Friends? A quiet reflective time or no plans.

I'm going to have a quiet reflective time. There's been a lot happening in the last few weeks for me and it's all bubbling away below the surface so time to myself doing whatever I feel like doing are my plans.

Barricading myself in at home with my cat and watching videos containing gratuitous violence and horror.

Sounds fair enough!

Hope your cat is cuddly and good company 🙂

Mine was stealing my jelly beans from me last night in such a lady-like manner, cheeky little girl she is.

Quiet time camping with the family and working. Trying not to think what is bubbling below the surface!

My Cat "Talia" is far from cuddly but she is good company if one considers "good company" to be constantly watched from one place to another.

I already have more than my fair share of mental health issues and she feels that ontop of everything I need a good dose of paranoia!

And you know what? I wouldn't change it for the world.

Sounds like Maggiecat (pictured) She thinks she is a meerkat. Meerkats don't steal my jellybeans while we're watching telly together!

Spending some time with mother...

HI Everyone,

I started my Easter by trying to get my hens to act cute amongst some Easter Eggs so I could take photos of them to send to family and friends for Easter.

I had to bribe the chooks by putting food in amongst the Easter eggs. I also found a bird's nest and put some eggs in that for a photo. They worked out okay.

For those of you who are feeling a bit low and struggling, I do wish you well. If you are the type to enjoy hugs, then I send you cyber hugs. If not, then just ignore that last sentence! Ha. Ha.

I hope to catch up with my two sisters Easter Sunday after Church, so that will be nice.

Wishing you all the best no matter what you end up doing.

Speaking of cats, I had a cat who liked to eat chocolate, peas and rock melon...not all at once though!

Hi all.  I'm getting together with my two adorable kids and their respective spouses and children and watching 'Ben Hur'.  My kids always loved watching the chariot race.  When they were younger, they would take bets to see who won.  Even though they've seen the movie countless times, taking bets was always part of the fun.  When my son was younger, he decided to see if he could throw a stick as far as was shown in the early part of the movie.  He would go outside and throw the stick as far as he could.  His reward (no matter how far he threw the stick) was, of course, a large Easter egg.  My daughter would roll her eyes dramatically to the sky and complain about would he EVER grow up.  We always laugh over that.  My daughter fancied herself as a dramatic actress.
