It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

Sometimes you we have to take every day as it comes.

I have been good. I am starting a new part time job on Monday which I am looking forward to. It is in a hospital closer to home which will make it easier to get too and from. Well I could walk there and it would take the same time as my last job driving but I get exercise.

Hi everyone. This week has been a big week. So I'll put in an update

-I started my new job. It is going really well. Everyone is super nice. And I am part-time so have some job security

-I cut my hair. I cut off 12inches for chairty! The hair will be used to make a wig for those with cancer/alopicia/other. I am not a big fan of how short it is but it is for charity and for the good of others

-I have started seeing someone and we had a nice dinner the day before valentines day (his brothers beday valentines day, note same guy for the last few weeks but seems to be leading to more relationship feelings).

So far it has been a decent week. I am trying not to go into the negatives (short hair I don't like) but on the positives 🙂 trying to work on my anxiety and depression not taking over

thats alot of changes MsP though they are sounding good to me. maybe youll adjust to your new hair style despite not really loving it. well done on making all these positive choices and i wish you well 🙂

I think Sez asked a while back about pickup lines.

The best I've heard came from the most gorgeous girl i ever met. First she beckoned me over to her side. Then she said: "What's you're name?"

I found it so endearing at the time, it was like she wanted to know me, I wasn't just a body to dance withon the dancefloor.

Sounds boring, but it was the best thing ever.

6 years later ... we're now allowed to get married!

I don't think I'll be sharing my home with anyone in the future; much too independent. I can't rule out a love interest though it seems pie in the sky thinking.

I'm ok. Had some time off to talk with a visiting family member. I'm not looking for exciting or new atm. Calm and peaceful's just fine thankyou for asking.

Leaving apple turnover's, cream puffs and coconut/raspberry jam tartlets on coffee table for those interested. Coffee machine's on so help yourselves ok. There's a bottle of Kahlua too for a little lift in your cup.

I partake of these treats now and then to satisfy my sweet tooth; oldies but goodies.

Hi Everyone. Sorry I have been busy with he new jobs so haven't been on the forums much

Birdy that is exciting that a pick up line worked. I know it is something simple but it is something that makes you know they actually want to talk and get to know you and not just try get you for a one night stand.

Hi Sez 🙂 I'm glad you got to spend some time seeing your family. But not gonna lie it can be bitter sweet when they leave and you can go back to being relaxed and in your own space again. I just went to dads for a bit and I was glad I could go home. Makes seeing him more special when it is in short bursts.

I am finally getting used to the short hair. Still not a big fan but think I have found a way to make it work so I don't hate how it looks. There are not many tutorials for short bobs, not much you can do when it won't fit in a pony tail. But I am reminding myself it was for a good cause. I just wish I felt just as confident with shorter hair as I did with longer. Oh well in time
