The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Rambling encouraged dear tealflowers lol... we're aiming for 2023 pages in the BB Cafe by 2023!
Sorry you've been unwell today. Hope you feel better very soon.
Kitty, berocoffee wasn't MY concoction, it was Fiatlux's lol. I can't have Berocca, mucks up my digestion, just because I know you're desperate to know that fact about me lol!
Gambit, WOW that's fantastic news about your Lease! Congrats. Happy days.
Nice to see you Croix. You should've been an Astronaut with your incredible skills lol, you lost me at Word count lol!
Fiatlux, your kitchen is a magical place! Adding nuts - what a WONDERFUL idea. I think carrot cake with a mix of seeds and nuts would be yummy too. That jam sounds tasty (minus the ginger in marmalade for me lol). I LOVE Lime Marmalade. Lemon butter too, I think Matchy wrote a recipe for this on the Easy Peasy Recipe thread. Here's hoping you can find a great Farmer's Market soon.
I reckon we'll hit the target of 2023 pages by 2023 folks. I'm excited!
New poster always welcome!

Good morning, all!
Sorry, EM, my rusty old brain slipped it's gears a tad, wot! Hands up anyone who doesn't have Gastro-intestinal issues!
Hi tealflowers, it's good your mindful of those ingredients that can cause problems - somes things we use just don't play well together. I'm pleased your Psychiatrist has spoken to you about it, too.
Hi Croix, I've noticed how the letter count varies between my word & whatever way this text thingy is counting. I've even had problems when I've used as few as two emojis & trying to post under 2000 characters (+spaces). Last night I just about gave up entirely. I took out a couple paragraphs, & still, so I chopped my post into two separate posts, finally getting something posted. It took so long, as well as worrying I might mess up the meaning of what I wanted to say in the editing.
As well as the constant updated time of when my content was last auto-saved.
I'm still waiting, hoping, these issues will be sorted.
Last night, just for a bit, I was sounding like a penguin who sat on the ice too long & had pulled a few feathers standing up again... 😺
I'd continue to use the emojis my PC supplies, if that ould help, but whenever possible, they get converted to BB's anyway. I can't easily copy-paste BB's either. 😾
What d'ya'all say we treat our tummies nice & have some yoghurt & fresh berries for brekkie? You can still have the poridge - if that's what would help.
🌤 & not too cool between 11am & 4pm, I guess. (I feel the cold too easily, given all my pretty red fur, which might be leaching colour into my brain, so maybe it's not so much rust & kitty hair colour contamination).

Hi tealflowers, 😸it is good to hear you are feeling better, especially because you noticed & acknowledge feeling better. It's easy to take feeling better for granted, because it can be very subtle, unlike feeling worse. Have you (or anyone) noticed that, how feeling worse is 'louder' than feeling better?
I heard a magpie this morning, 5:30am, which woke the other bird, & I think, put them off their numbers. The sequences of pips from it were very uneven this morning, & counting down to zero, I thought, as if it felt very unsatisfied with its own efforts.
So, I'm up early, myself, not freezing, I'm happy to say. There could be a little fog out there - just looks grey now, cloud up there, or way down on the ground, I can't tell.
& I've already had one big cuppa - oh, it is still too early.. 'cause I want another cuppa. I won't though. I'll have an early breakfast instead, then get the washing on.
Perhaps some cereal with various grains, a few crushed nuts & fruit pieces? Okay, but not too much. I suspect maybe I've had a little problem with the serving size.
Hi Paul, hope you have been feeling better, too, lately. 😸

Oh, thanks,tealflowers.
I have found feeling better physically is actually very sneaky - I can feel some physical discomfort for a while, & then it goes - & I don't know when it went, only one day, maybe a couple weeks later, I will suddenly realise that problem is gone, & has been gone, & that part of my body that was complaining so loudly is quiet & I barely know that part of me even exists. It's like the well parts of me shrink right down to very small portions of the whole. & the unwell portions are large in my brain.
It's like a toothache seems to, in your perception, feel as if it involves half your face. & wen all the teeth & gums are healthy, do we notice them much at all?
I find what humans are capable of perceiving very intriguing & rather wonderful.
Any thoughts, anyone?

Good Morning 😸everyone, especially to new BB members & anyone quietly viewing. Everyone is welcome.
Where I am is looking rather cloudy & dull. Maybe there will be a little rain today.
I'm feeling like having a couple sausages, toast & eggs, & I wll chuck a few scrappy pieces of my lettuce in there for some pretty greenness.
As usual, at this end of August, I can barely believe it will officially be spring in a few days. Sometimes I think I am very out-of-touch with nature & it's routines. I don't know much beyond when Jacaranda bloom & I play 'spot the Jacaranda' while out & about. Not an easy game for me now, but I will still try.
& how so many foods on the shelves at grocery stores are brought in from here, there & everywhere, & grown in manufactured climate controlled spaces, I don't know what fruits & veg are in season either, except for the very large mandarins I like. They really are only available for a couple months in winter.
& because prices vary for reasons other than the produce is scare when not in season, that cannot be a guide to inform me either.
I think this is a nostalgic yearning for a more localised way of living, closer to the earth & natural cycles.
Again, I invite, any thoughts?

Sure I hear you Kitty, you yearn to be a locovore lol. I was really into this scene when I was Home Schooling and running businesses from home. It was interesting and FUN!
That time feels like 10 lifetimes ago now. I'll get back into it more as I drop days at work to look like I'm retiring lol!
Community Gardens are GREAT for fresh veg.
I hope everyone can visit one near them soon. Awesome places for all of us.
The weather was beautiful here today!
Sun shining. Gentle breezes. I wore too many layers to work lol.
Apparently it will rain tomorrow... we'll see how it goes.
FUTSAL Score lol! They only lost by 5 tonight! Their team is improving week by week. Drawing in more family friends to play as team mates go out with injuries or have work or have a cold.
They're having fun which is great.
Getting together each week is awesome.
It's BBQ night tonight in the Cafe!
Barbequed whole corn on the cob with garlic butter.
The fancy red onion, capsicum, artichoke and tomato BBQ dish marinated in balsamic vinegar.
Those are for the vegans and vege people.
What do you like on the BBQ?
New posters always welcome!
Have a great night tonight and wonderful day tomorrow.
Love EM
