Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Unfortunately, Deebi, Mandy, Pamela and Grandy, were all laying on a heap where they fell down in fits of laughter..They couldn't stop laughing.

Fortunately, they found the laughter helped them to relax a little following the stress of the children's scrapped knees.

Unfortunately they all had to get up to go to a charity function, but they were messy. and needed some shoes..

Fortunately after Deebis 'wee' accident after LOL so much she gave the kids Grandys one shoe and Pam and Mandys

Unfortunately Grandy's, Pam's and Mandy's shoes did not fit the kids. However, just as everyone was becoming downcast, 'Williams shoes' stopped by and offer the kids some 'on sale' shoes.

Fortunately, all the kids got a new pair of shoes free thanks to the kind shoe sales person, the only cost was for Deebi, Grandy, Pam and Mandy to cook up a BBQ for all the street kids. oh and the shoes salesperson of course,

Unfortunately the butcher ran out of meat so we had to bbq eggs and Weetbix

Fortunately we had a weetbix tree that produced enough weetbix for everyone to enjoy... crunchy hot bbq weetbix..now that's something to try.. oh with an egg on top.the kids enjoyed their party and wanted another one next week..

Unfortunately so many people turned up the weetbix tree was depleted. However, unbeknowns to everyone Deeb had planted another one for just such instances.

Fortunately the only weetbix on the new 🌲 tree came from the same genie that supplied the never ending tim tam packet
