I'm having a pretty rough time tonight, but if I'm honest I've been struggling for close to 2 months.
I quick background is ive had anxiety offically for about 10 years or so, I see a psych on and off and am on anti depressants.
I live in regional vic, so lock down isn't helping, plus we are building a house and expecting our second child. Just to put some pressure on!
A fear ive always had is ill lose my job for one reason or another and now with my wife off work and taking on a lot of debt its compounding.
I know most of my triggers and I generally just avoid them and of i am triggered I can bounce back relatively quick. I had a server panic attack close to 2 months ago and am yet to bouncw back. I have small triggers that ruin my day, like today.
My psychologist has suggested I talk to my GP and and psychiatrist to potentially increase my dosage during this stressful time and look into if I have OCD.
Ironically enough the idea of another diagnosis and increasing meds is making me.anxious, but I'm keen to get on top of this for my son, my unborn child, my wife and also myself.
Thanks for reading, I just needed a rant.

im still here 😊 sorry to hear you are struggling...... you will get through this just keep pushing forward 💪 I know it can be tough but just believe in yourself and that you WILL overcome what you are going through...
Well done for going back to your gp I hope the medication is helping you...
I hope all goes well with you psych appointment..... I hope your psych can help you with some strategies....

Thanks for the reply, I know we don't know each other but its good to read a friendly reply.
I keep telling myself I'm a good person and this is o ly temporary, but I constantly feel like im edge and its exhausting.
My psych appointment can't come quick enough

Yes the way you are feeling is only temporary.... it won’t last for ever.... things WILL get better 😊 just keep persevering.... day by day.... things WILL improve 😊 keep telling yourself positive things....
I totally understand what you are saying anxiety does make you feel exhausted and on edge..... just try to be around people.... talk to them..... I found when I had sever anxiety it really helped to be around people.... try to practice your meditation and mindfulness this helps aswell 😊 even just going out for a walk or drive helps ....
Your condition WILL improve just hang in there and keep going.... 💪

I understand your feeling of feeling stuck and hopeless...... I believe nothing is ever hopeless there is always hope.... you CAN recover.... I’m living proof of that.... things WILL get better.....
when I was in sever anxiety I would write myself a list the night before of the things I wanted to accomplish the next day and I’d cross each one off the list as I did them.....
even if its
cleaning the car, going for a walk, going out for a coffee, talking to a friend
this got me moving every day, maybe give it a go.....😊
I hope your appointment is soon.....
Remember you CAN come back from this and you are never alone..... keep talking

No worries 😉 thank you... through my journey I learned a lot about myself when I looked back and reflected.... I learned how resilient I am and how strong my journey has made me now.... we grow from our challenges I believe..... you too will see how resilient you are and that this challenge you are going through will strengthen you..... I believe we are always learning as human beings....
I really hope you do settle soon and find some comfort... stay close to the ones you love they will bring you comfort.... I found just hugging someone I loved really helped....
The tide will turn for you Whatsinaname in a positive way just keep persevering and do the best you can do ... day by day....
