Anxiety stopping me from applying for jobs

I have suffered from anxiety my whole life but only realized after speaking to a professional not long ago. I hate my job but my anxiety is stopping me from applying for new jobs. I cancel interviews because im worried they will think im an idiot and im afraid of rejection. I have an interview tomorrow and i cant stay focused, its making me feel sick. Anyone else suffer from this/ can give some helpful tips? Thanks

Well done Maggie!! No matter what the outcome is mate, hang on to the fact that you beat your fear and went ahead and did it. Fantastic. I hope there won't be a next time because I hope you get this job, but if there is a next time, it will be just that bit easier because of today. Go you!

Hi maggiefendi

Thank you for letting us know how the interview went – and to walk out feeling as though you went well, is a really tremendous result.  You feel about 10kg’s lighter as well when you walk out of an interview and you just do this giant “PHEW, thank goodness that’s over”.

As Kazzl wrote, we do hope you performed so well that you nailed this one and got the job;  but if you didn’t, then you now have one completed and have that experience to draw on for future ones.

I wish you best of luck with the result and remember please that you can post here anytime that you wish to.
