Feel as though it is living in my brain but my body feels the symptoms.

It causes me such panic and terror and all consuming

Trying to challenge my thinking but ver hard.

Hi guys!
This is slowly changing to a food appreciation post haha!

Sarahbelle that sounds so interesting! What a mix of cultures! Creole food sounds so interesting. Have you had gumbo before?

Gems I love that! I didn't know it was a tradition to eat Chinese food on Christmas! I would love that haha. I have had brisket and latkes before, sooooooo yum.

I also find a warm Christmas to be strange (but wonderful in it's own way). There is something magical about a snowy white Christmas though!

Hi all.

It is always so interesting finding out about how and what people celebrate and how food is so important and central to it all.

Writing my post the other day inspired me to make a yummy curry just for the sake of it, it was pretty good even if I say so myself.

Another thing I do for Christmas is make fruit cakes, decorate them and give them to special people.

Gems, I have been thinking that you will be flying off soon - it has been so nice chatting with you and getting to know you along the way. I am not sure how it works with this forum but I really do hope you can continue to share with us. Thankyou for sooooo much for all the hope you have inspired in me!!! (Missep too) .

Missep looks like we two get to have that hot, sunny beach Christmas, whilst Gems hopefully gets the gorgeous White Holiday Season from a fairy tale - although from the sounds of it Missep you might also love to see a little snowfall. Imagine that is Australia - what a treat!!

Take care and be in touch soon.

Sarahbelle.

Hi all,

Sarahbelle, you're only too right– I am heading home on Monday morning and unfortunately I recently learned that BB policy restricts forum use to within Australia, so for now this is goodbye. I have plans to come back to Australia as soon as covid permits, and resume posting here on the forums.

It's been so great to get to know you and my fellow Community Champion missep, and this is certainly my longest-running and most favourite thread. I'll miss checking in on you guys, though I trust you have great summers ahead.

Sarahbelle, good luck with your house and everything else. I'm so glad that the forums in general and this thread in particular were of help to you; they certainly were to me during what's been a very difficult 7 months since your first post kicked it all off. I've really appreciated having this mini-community to come back to over and over again. Missep, congratulations again on your engagement, and pre-congratulations on your wedding! All the best to you as well 🙂

Very warmly,

Gems

Gems you will be missed. Blessings to you for a safe trip and wonderful reunion with those you love.

One day we may be able to chat again and share together.

You, Missep and myself have been like the Three Muskateers supporting one another and I believe this will be a friendship we will always fondly remember.

I hope Missep and I can keep the campfire burning and save a special place for you.

Much love and thanks.

Your friend Sarahbelle 😊

Hi everyone!

Gems- So sad to see you go but I'm so glad that it's not goodbye, it's see you later! I also felt an affinity as I realised that we always seem to have the same amount of posts! Seeing here I'm sitting on 352 and you are as well! I thought that was a funny and nice coincidence. Please keep us posted (when you can)! I look forward to your return

Sarahbelle- That's right! I wish I could have two Christmas', a cold one and a hot one to get best of both worlds! We really have all supported each other so much on this thread!

Hello Everyone.

Thanks Blonde Guy for you words of kindness. It has been such a tough year living through the pandemic and strict lockdown.

So good tha Vic and the rest of Australia are doing so well.

Well Gem's would be home now. It is good news Gem's can still be in touch.

Missep I would love to experience a White Christmas. The idea of it sounds so beautiful. Each year I take a Christmas photo of my dog just for fun. Last year she had antlers and christmas glasses. So cute. A bit silly i know but good fun. Do you do this with your little pug?

Enjoy a lovely weekend ahead.

Sarahbelle.

Hi everyone!

Sarahbelle that sounds absolutely adorable, I definitely want to try that with my pug! I recently got socks for her and it is so adorable!

I am definitely loving this warmer weather and sunnier days. I feel quite happy when it's sunny outside!

Great to also hear that Victoria has gone so many days without Covid!

Hello.

Wow how busy it has been, school commitments and packing up a house.

Missep yes the sunny weather does give a new energy and spring in our step.

Christmas is nearly upon us. Where has the time gone and such a crazy year.

I think your little pug would look so cute in little socks.

I think the world is a much kinder and happier place with the love of our animal fur babies.

Take care.

Sarabelle

Hi Sarahbelle!

It really must have been so busy! Look at you though, so proud of you and how far you have come along and how much you have achieved.

How are things in Melbourne at the moment?

I am so looking forward to Christmas however getting a bit nervous about the new cases in Sydney! Luckily we have a pretty quick response which I am grateful for.
