Three things to be thankful for today
Some days it is really hard to find anything to be thankful for when we feel overcome by the darkness and fog of depression. If I look hard enough, I can find something to be thankful for.
I would like to encourage others to write down three things they are thankful for, and to realise there is a sense of hope available to us all. Sometimes it is just a little hard to find!
So my three things for today are:
1: The lovely singing of birds in the morning as they welcome in the new day
2: The ability to read and write
3: A lovely hot shower.

Today mine are:
Sitting by the water, watching the little fish
Strategizing with my psych - two heads are better than one, even when it's just figuring out how to do the most mundane of things that most people don't have trouble doing. It is what it is!
Pink - there's something a little bit self care about wearing something pink on a sh*t day.
Today I am thankful for:
1) The four dolphins I stopped & watched during my walk this morning; very calming
2) 10 min yoga for my neck from youtube released oodles of tension.
3) I have given myself permission to do no study at all today...it feels so good, as usually I am thinking I should be at my desk.
