Three things to be thankful for today
Some days it is really hard to find anything to be thankful for when we feel overcome by the darkness and fog of depression. If I look hard enough, I can find something to be thankful for.
I would like to encourage others to write down three things they are thankful for, and to realise there is a sense of hope available to us all. Sometimes it is just a little hard to find!
So my three things for today are:
1: The lovely singing of birds in the morning as they welcome in the new day
2: The ability to read and write
3: A lovely hot shower.

Today I am thankful for
My endocrinologist. I had an appointment with her today & she is so supportive. She will even ask how my mental health stuff is going & asks if I want to talk about it. Heck, my GP rarely asks
Good results for my hard work. I’m on an insulin pump & continuous glucose monitor & my blood test results today were really, really good. Feeling proud of myself
My boyfriend, I am so incredibly lucky to have his support ❤️
That’s ok mb20lover, some days are much, much harder than others.
Everyone here is at different stages of their journey, you’re just at a different place along the road.
It may take time, but one day you will find yourself in a spot where you have something to be thankful for.
